I bought the product to bleach my entire head. My hair is fairly dark, and I knew what to expect in terms of lift here. It did lift the color, but there are some things you should know. Some of the reviews I read prior to purchase state that there is an abundance of product. This is untrue. The mixing bowl they provide is woefully small. It just seems like a lot of product because of this. You open the developer and it isntantly 'pops', getting everywhere if you're not wieldy with getting the bowl underneath. The brush has short bristles which make mixing the product a nightmare and applying it even worse. I'm no rookie, but if this is your first bleaching experience, AVOID THIS PRODUCT. It has no time chart, it just says "check every ten minutes until your hair is the desired shade." I could definitely see someone inexperienced melting their hair off this way! Anyway, my hair is moderately thick but only reaches to the base of my neck, and I discovered about halfway through my head that I had run out of product. My fiance had to run to the store mid way and pick up another one. So, while performatively it gets the job done, buy something with more product. The "tools" included aren't worth choosing this particular kit over one with more product.
