SinglePass Curl Ceramic Long Barrel Curling Iron - Graphite : Good curling iron

I'll preface this by saying that I don't regularly curl my hair, since I have a very hard time getting it to hold a curl. Generally the only way it holds a curl is if I curl it super hot with a straightener. Weird, I know. Anyway, I used this curling iron for the first time today. It's easy to hold and is so pretty that I wouldn't mind leaving it out on the counter. There is a twist dial at the base and 5 different levels of heat. I used the iron on the 1st level since I have very fine hair. It was easy to use and didn't leave any of those crinkly lines in my hair, which I was really impressed with. I curled each piece of hair for 20 seconds and there were a few strands that I had to go back and redo, but not many. I didn't use any hairspray and I fluffed out the curls and then lightly combed them (see photos). They obviously didn't hold their ringlet shape, but I didn't expect them to. I went and ran some errands and got back 2 hours later and my hair had lost most of the curl. I threw it up in a bun and took it down a couple hours later and the ends still had a curl to them and the body had a slight wave. Overall, I like this curling iron and I'll test it out on a higher heat setting to see if it lasts longer, or maybe if I can speed up the time it takes me to curl the hair.
