Regenerist Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Hydrating Moisturizer : Why is my face looking burned after using?

I love Olay products and have used them for 50 years. I use Regenerist micro-sculpting cream daily and have ever since it came out. I used the Vitamin C cream 2x now and every time my face reacts badly with red blotches and scab like spots all over. First time I used it I awoke to my eyes swollen even though I just used around my eyes not on my eyes. I am upset that I bought this product cause I bought 2 of them at one time! I don't know what is causing my skin to react like this? I am 65 and take care of my skin with Olay products and I have always trusted Olay with confidence that your products are safe. No instructions on the box stating how to use your Vitamin C products except use 2x daily. Why I came to your website for more information and really I was disappointed with nothing I could help figure out how and why my face is reacting to your products in such a manner. Buyers beware.
