Regenerist Vitamin C + Peptide 24 Hydrating Moisturizer : Burned my face

I've been using Olay microsculpting cream for years and has been a match for my skin. I saw this new moisturizer with VitC peptide and thought why not give it a try. My first use, it got my entire face super red after applying so I stopped using it. I tried again after a week to give it a chance but it burned my face, like really red and blotchy with tingling and burning feel. I was so scared as this was the first time this has happened to me. I don't have sensitive skin but when I googled, I think it was chemical burn? I'm not sure but what I'm sure is I was miserable, even when washing my face hurts like hell. The redness and blotches has started to slowly dissappear now but this is the 3rd week so it took a long time. If you use it the first time and you feel like it burned your face, don't try it again. I will just stick to microsculpting.
