I needed nipple covers for my good unlined/lightly lined bras because I get cold easily and they can be seen through them. unfortunately my boobs are too big for more padded bras as anymore padding will push them out. I read that I can wear nipple covers with unlined bras for those "cold moments" also to wear when I'm braless at home. They stay on really well, but the only cons I can think of is God forbid you drop one of these on carpet.. hair and pet hair can easily stick to it as well as small fibers even if you rinse them off they won't get off.
