SinglePass StyleMax Professional 1" Flat Iron With Automated Heat : I wanted to love it so bad

I tried so hard to look past the downfalls. I love the heat settings and temperature control since I'm prioritizing hair health, I was happy to get shiny straight hair with 2-3 passes on my curls in a heat setting under 400. It was also a nice looking product and lightweight which feels important due to the amount of hair I have to get through.The gripe that's making me return the flat iron is the atrocious amount of snagging. It just straight up ripped strands out of my hair the whole way through- you could hear it/feel in every other pass. I tried thicker sections which minimized snagging sometimes but then needed more passes or higher temp for desired outcome. The edges of the straightener were also too thick which made it difficult to get to my very curly, frizzy roots. I'll have to continue my search for a flat iron bc this was not it.
