Line Smoothing Cleansing Pads : ?? Longtime Fan Deeply Disappointed in the New Formula
I've been using RoC Resurfacing Discs since they first hit the market back in the early 2000s, I was around 20 or 21 at the time. I discovered them while looking for something to exfoliate my face and remove makeup, and I was instantly hooked. I used to buy them in bulk, months at a time, because they were that good and I didn't want to run out.
Over the years, I got my husband to use them, and even my late teenage kids from time to time. Friends would compliment my skin and ask what I used, and I'd always recommend these discs. They left my skin so smooth and clean. I loved the texture of the pads and the refreshing formula. They truly worked.
But recently, I ran out of my old stock (the ones in the gold container) and ordered more. When I received the new version in the white container, I could tell immediately that something had changed. The pads felt different, thinner, softer, not exfoliating the same way. The formula smelled and felt off. It doesn't scrub or clean the skin like before, and instead, it leaves a film on my face. I absolutely hate it. I thought I got fake RoC sent to me, but nope, it's legit.
I'm so disappointed. After using and recommending this product for over 20 years, I now have to look for something new. Please, please bring back the original formula and pads! The old version was perfect! Why change something that worked so well for so long? Judging by other reviews, I know I'm not the only one who feels this way
