Aquage Straightening Ultragel

I love it

I love Aquage Straightening Ultragel. My hair is frizzy and it smooths it out perfectly. I am disappointed that I can no longer get it at Ulta. When you changed the container that you put it in from the clear blue hard plastic bottle to the soft tube container you also changed the formula of the gel. It was a thinner, more liquid gel and doesn't work as well. I tried other products and didn't like them. When I found that you still sell the original formula on your web site I ordered it from there. I signed up for the monthly delivery. I did order 2 Aquage (the original formula) bottles 2 weeks ago when you had the sale but I haven't been notified when they will be delivered yet. PLEASE continue to make the original formula that comes in the clear blends hard plastic container.

No more frizz

I love this product. I have have curly grey hair which can get very frizzy. But since I started using this, my curls are defined and smooth. I love the smell also.

UNFORTUNATE change of formulation is just the worst

The company has changed the packaging and formulation of this product. I have been using what you see displayed above for YEARS with excellent results. The company has now filled —-actually has half filled a solid, too big, light blue tube with WATER and some gel, and the resulting product is complete crap. No. COMPLETE CRAP. I am so disappointed with Aquage for doing this. I will NEVER buy this product again. At least the product you see in this photo (which is NOT its current iteration) fits easily on shelves in an upright position and was ALL PRODUCT….not the watery crap that pours out of the squeeze tub it runs out of now. Why can't corporations leave their great products alone??

Only product I use! Works great and smells amazing!!

I sure about a quarter size on wet hair before blow drying. It helps control frizzies and makes my hair smooth and shiny

This new version is NOT like the old version

I assumed that only the packaging changed, but I was wrong. The product in the tube is very very thin and watery. It doesn't have the same effect on my hair. Instead of giving me glorius hold and stability, this new version gives me wet looking hair even after it's dry. As Taylor Swift says, the problem may be me... I didn't expect to have a huge amount of product come out of the tube all at once so maybe I used too much. The old version made my hair feel silky so my styling tool (brush/comb) moved smoothly through my hair. I hope this grows on me. Right now I miss the old product!

Holy grail for FINE/THIN wavy/curly/ frizzy hair

Clear Gel that softens hair and does not weigh it down, even when applied near the root. Although it is a gel, it does not dry crunchy (like LALooks or typical gel). It relaxes the curl just enough. I have been looking for something like this since high school! I will buy it until they stop making this, even at this price.

The best product I've ever had

I LOVE this product SO MUCH! It's the only thing that has ever controlled the frizz in my hair and kept it that way without being a gel. Smells great and doesn't make my hair greasy! I've got 2c hair that is really thick and very course.

Liquid Gold

I've been searching for a product just like this! I put a little on my hair from my ear down, blow dry and BAM. Amazing, soft, shinny hair!! Helps hold my hair straight.
