Wonderful product

Could not live without. I have short fine hair and and have been using this product over 10 years. As my hair ages, it is the only product that holds in place without weighing down. Love most Aquage products.

Love this Product!

I have tried other products that say they do what this does and none of them compare! I love this product and use it over and over again!

Excellent styling product - if you know how to use it

I have been using this product for as long as I can remember. I have worn many different hairstyles and have switched up hair sprays but THIS PRODUCT RIGHT HERE is the one staple that I have ALWAYS used. I use it on dry hair before styling- small amount in palm and rub hands together getting product all over my fingers then starting at scalp I run my fingers through hair and mess it all up - seriously, I look like I stuck my finger in a light socket. ha! Then I style my hair however I want and spray lightly with hairspray. This stuff gives me the shine, hold and VOLUME I want and I can run my fingers through my hair later to restyle and it fluffs my hair back up. Guess it's worth mentioning that I wash my hair every other day and start over. This product might make hair gunky if left in for several days.

Love!

Works best for me using on wet hair then blow dry. (I tried it after blow drying but kind of a sticky mess.) My hair is short and very thick, it really tames the "beast"! Love it and Aquage products.

If you are looking

If you are looking for a product that gives your hair a firm hold without being greasy -- this is a must try. It's on the pricey side compared to similar products, but it's worth it. It holds for the entirety of the day, so you don't have to worry about your hair going crazy. I recommend this product.

This product does a

This product does a great job of making my hair look well texturized and piecy. I like a messy hair look , so I need the strength of this product. It's tacky and does not take much at all. It holds my hair really well.

I use this most

I use this most days to help manage frizz and give my hair some shine. I am able to use it on my naturally curly hair, as well as when I straighten it. I think it helps keep my hair in control throughout the day.

I have been using this for over 20 years. It is a great sticky non greasy hair paste to help add definition to my fine limp hair.

A good substitute for a beloved discontinued gel wax

I was a huge fan of I.C.O.N. Task Gel Wax which was sadly discontinued (the entire styling line seems difficult to find, but that is another story). A stylist recommended Aquage Transforming Paste and I am pleased to report that it has a similar performance. It has a pleasant scent (though perhaps nothing will smell as marvelous as Task did) and offers easily buildable coverage with comfortable yet fairly durable hold. I far prefer the flip-cap tube to the upright pump as the latter is not only difficult to control how much product is dispensed but also leads to excess product drying into a crust at the spout—both of which lead to wasting an expensive product. Your money goes further when using the flip-cap tube and you can also massage the packaging to alleviate any separation of the ingredients between uses. Based on my overall good experience with this product I also tried the companion Lite paste and find that to be a nice and true-to-name lighter weight option for days I seek a more casual style with less element defying hold. Washout for both is easy enough.
