Gave up on these

I'm a bit new to lashes and thought these would be good for my close set eyes. I trimmed and placed, but the ends kept popping up. I'm sure some of it's me, but I was able to get on some other lashes. They don't have a strong band shape so I think that's part of the problem for me getting them aligned just right.
