Nice concept but major problems

The colors really exceeded my expectations, and they lasted on my skin a long time. At first I was happy with these. The problem is that the warmth from my hand when applying causes the balmie to snap in half, which is so upsetting when they are fairly pricy. After that I can't get any precision out of them, I have pieces with jagged edges, and they become very difficult to apply, messy and extremely frustrating! They continue to break and melt in my hand. I've resorted to trying to melt tiny broken pieces in my hand and then trying to apply with my fingertips. You can't get into the corners of your eyes very easily that way. Trying to apply with broken pieces of crayon leaves little lumps and is uneven. I start feeling like a child doing face painting. I really only got a few applications out of each balmie before I had to peel off the paper that it's wrapped in, and then the crayon is guaranteed to break with the warmth of my hand. I won't buy again for this reason. As much as I love the thought of no applicator, would it really be so terrible to have a recycleable one?

Love these little crayons

These are my new favorite blushes! They blend out so well with the fingers the pigment lasts all day. The formula is pretty stiff, so you don't have to worry about the crayons melting and the pigment stays put where you apply it. No waste is an awesome bonus. My skin is on the fair side and these shades work well for me. The formula is also buildable so it may work well for those with deeper skintones as well (the company has great photos on models of different tones). I also like that you can customize by applying both shades to make your own blush color.

Love the champagne highlighter!

I love Axiology's lipsticks so I was excited to try their balmies. The champagne color is great as a highlighter and eyeshadow. I recommend using an oil based moisturizer/oil on your skin before using them because it helps the color glide on and blend more easily.

Very nice product!

The colours are beautiful and the product is very smooth and applies very well! I love that the balmies are plastic-free and made with natural ingredients! They are multi-use and can be used anywhere, which make them perfect to keep in my bag.

Really innovative product

The colors in this set are really beautiful. This packaging is truly innovative and really makes you think about how much plastic we waste with traditional lipsticks. Thank you for coming up with a multitask product you can feel good about using.

Love these little balmies!!

I am obsessed with these little balmies! I already own multiple other colors. This set has great colors for spring and summer!

I love that they are a plastic free product and that they only use clean ingredients. These balmies are so convenient. I always have one in my purse for when my look needs a quick pick me up. They are highly pigmented. I sometimes sheer my darker colored ones down with a balm when using them on my lips.

What every woman should use

I love this product. I've been able to ditch half of my make up products for these sweet little balmies! I use these for a wonderful lip, blush, and/or lid shade. Super versatile and blendable. I have some of Axiology's other balmies and I use those in the same way or even as a highlighter! Absolutely recommend to anyone in search for a clean lipstick/eyeshadow/blush that you can feel good about putting on your skin.

Love Axiology

I love all the Axiology products and have been using them for the last 5 years. They do no disappoint. The colours are all very flattering on everyone, and the texture is great. I have olive toned skin and really liked the Malibu colour combo. I really like the fresh spring look this colour combo gives. I use it mainly for eyes and cheeks as make-up - with the more matte look. As lipstick, the colours also look great - I just prefer a moister texture for lips, and usually default to Axiology's lipsticks for that.

Beautiful Colors, No Waste

I was very intrigued when I first saw these, as they reminded me of art crayons I used when I was a kid. How could I resist? Beautiful colors, with a smooth nourishing feel. I love that there's zero plastic involved. I can play without the guilt!

Perfect Trio!

I'm trying to create less waste. These are perfect in every way. I use the Champagne the most, as a highlighter, under my brow, and on my lips. I use the Clementine and the Peach on my lips and cheeks. Smooth, great color pay off, and long lasting. Fancy stuff with less waste!

Amazing!!

These balmies are so cute! I love the colors in this pack and they go on so nicely. I used the champagne balmie as a highlighter and on the inner corners of my eyes and the peach as lipstick and clementine as blush it was such a cute daytime look. They are a bit sheer so I had to use more than I expected on my cheeks but it gave a lovely blushy glow when I did.

3-in-1

The Axiology balmies are incredibly versatile. I use them as eye shadow (my favorite way to wear them), tinted lip balm, and blush. The formula is very creamy but stays put once applied. I have gone out and ran errands without priming or applying setting powder and the product did not budge much (holds even better with a setting powder). I had already owned the Super Fan Pack when I was gifted the trio set by Axiology. The Malibu trio set has some of my favorite colors and is perfect for summer. These balmies have little packing/waste, are clean, vegan, and sustainable which is difficult to find. These products also make perfect gifts for friends and family.

Eco-friendly and Inclusive

I absolutely adore this little trio of multisticks! Creamy and blendable with a natural glowy finish, these balmies are the perfect travel companions. I had a few friends with differing skin tones swatch these— the buildable coverage looked gorgeous on everyone (though champagne is a subtle highlight). I have a hand mobility disorder, and these make a full face so accessible!

Love this product!

These balmies are so easy to use and great for travel! They glide on super easily and you can use them on your eyes, lips and cheeks. For eyes you can put directly on the face and use your finger to rub in, for cheeks I recommend putting the product on your finger and rubbing it in. I have tried A LOT of different lip products in my life and so far these are the best. I am an Axi Stan after using this product! I also love the zero waste aspect.

LOVE this set!

I was introduced to Axiology by a friend, and am so thankful she told me about this beauty brand. I had been looking for a lipstick made with only the best ingredients, and Axiology is that and then some. This set's colors are beautiful, and I can't wait to order more balmies in different colors. Calling all lovers of sustainable products!!!

Over the past 5 years I have been on a journey to slowly buy things that are more environmentally conscious. These balmies have been one of my favorite finds!! I loved them so much I bought the full set on Axiology's website and use the smaller cases when I'm out and about. I really love the shades for my lips and cheeks. All the colors I've tried go really well with my brown skin tone! I don't really use eyeshadow so can't speak to that. Highly recommend and would but again!!!!

I LOVE this company! Woman-owned, low-waste, slow beauty, vegan, …it crosses all the boxes in terms of buying products in alignment with my values. Best zero waste makeup

I love the balmies makeup! These colors are beautiful on all skin tones and they are fun to mix and match or just wear one color. They are very easy and quick to use. They are literally just like using a crayon on your face. This is the only makeup I will ever buy!
