Why Did I Ever Stop Using This??!!
I wore this for YEARS in my 30's & 40's (shade Light, just like I got in this kit), after which I succumbed to both the trend push to wear goopy, greasy BB & CC creams, and the pressure to never wear anything powder after turning 50. How wrong that is, because if the "swirl, tap, and buff" Original works for you, keep using it no matter what age you are. And, at 57 now, it works for me! Don't be turned off by the "powder" that this foundation appears to be, as it's not drying. It's a creamy formula that feels like silk on the face. The Mineral Veil feels more like a traditional setting, mattifying type powder, but I only use that on the t-zone, if at all. I've never been a huge fan of primer, as I'm more old school, and we didn't use that back in the day. But, if you feel you must use primer, this seems like a good one. In all, if you're new to this type of makeup, give it a try with this kit. You won't be disappointed!
This is the SAME great product you remember
I have to disagree with the "most helpful critical review" here that said Fairly Light had changed and wasn't the same. I respectfully beg to differ, because it seems to me to be the same shade (my shade) and same great coverage that I remembered, and that I finally came back to after my makeup routine took a backseat to motherhood. My skin has become more uneven with a few sunspots starting, but this product still makes me feel great and confident today.

I love the starter pack it has helped me to see the order in which I need to apply my makeup and I am still learning but will be going to the store tomorrow to look into getting some plush and other cleansing products .

Perfect for Vacation
No matter what your daily makeup/foundation regimen is, Bareminerals Original foundation is unbeatable in warm, humid weather and I love this kit for travel. It has smaller sizes perfect to put in your bag, and the formula is perfect to sweep on to head to an outdoor activity or at night to dress up. I've taken this to Bermuda and the Caribbean and it gives great coverage. (It looks even better over primer and under setting spray.)

I purchased this once before, and it was great, but this time maybe the product was old because it felt to moist and would not spread as powders do.

How To Use
STEP 1: PREP
- Squeeze a pea size amount of PRIME TIME Original Foundation Primer into the palm of your hand and warm up.
- Smooth a thin, even layer over skin, starting in the center of your face.
- Allow to absorb into your skin before applying foundation.
STEP 2: PERFECT
Use the Beautiful Finish Brush to SWIRL, TAP, BUFF for an easy, expert application:
- SWIRL a small amount of ORIGINAL Foundation in the lid until it all disappears into the brush.
- TAP away excess.
- BUFF onto the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face and moving inward.
- Repeat until you've achieved the desired coverage, from sheer to full.
STEP 3: SET
- Using a brush, Sweep MINERAL VEIL Finishing Powder across T-zone, cheeks or all over your face.
