Love it!

I have used the 1" one before of this and loved it. Needed the bigger size for my hair. Works wonderfully! So easy to use and the curls look wonderful

I wanted to love this!

I wanted to love this. I really did. It heats up hot enough to have waves/curls stay better but the clip is very small so it's harder to grip more hair. I have A TON of hair (it feels like a literal ton sometimes) so it took a really long time to do to achieve the look I wanted. In addition, the button placement could be better. If you're not careful it's easy to accidentally roll the Beachwaver in too close (or outwards, thus undoing the curl/wave).

Overall this is a great product, but it is not that easy/convenient to use, especially for a quick on the go hairstyle if you have a lot of hair as I do. I would HIGHLY recommend to a friend, as it may work great for someone else. It's still a great product, but I will, unfortunately, be returning.

Best Invention EVER!

In my opinion, anything less than a 5 star review is crazy! I hate doing my hair in the AM for work, but I find myself using this up to 4-5 times during the work week. It's fast, curls/waves last all day. The best part is that my hair has never gotten caught or tangled in the almost three years I've owned it. I can usually do my whole head fairly quickly, which is great! I can do tighter curls or big waves (photos provided).. love it! Please buy one if considering. I have the 1.25 now, will purchase .75 soon. I feel the best thing about the product is that it makes me NOT hate getting ready.

Dies every year

This is my second one, and true to timing like the last one, has lasted a little less than a year. That's too expensive for that kind of life span. The buttons on this newer model are annoyingly placed and not as intuitive as the more basic model. Not worth the money.

Definitely not for thick, coarse hair

I read lots of reviews before I decided on a curling iron, and I chose this one. It is definitely not for thick coarse hair. I have been curling my hair for years and am pretty good at it, but I wanted a 1.25 inch wand to complement my 1 inch one. I could see how this could work for thinner hair, as you need to use really small sections. Even though I am some of the thickest hair I have seen, it usually would take me 15 minutes with my 1 inch wand. This took nearly 45 minutes and some sections of my hair wouldn't even take a curl. My hair also smells like I was using a hot tool. I gave this two stars because clearly this would work for some people, but definitely consider another option if you have thick hair.

I LOVE THIS THING!!

I bought this 1.25" version because I really wanted something that can create a blowout/loose waves look as opposed to defined curls. And boy, this definitely does the job quicker than other curlers I've tried! It also heats up very fast.

The "Go" button for the auto-rotate does take some time to get used to since I kept accidentally pressing the button before I knew the right spot to hold the curler. Just make sure to grip it where the handle curves inwards.

I curled my hair last evening and went to bed with my curled hair. When I woke up, my curls are still there and I didn't even wear a cap to protect it like I usually do after a salon blowout!!! It just took some refreshing with some dry shampoo and back-combing to build volume. It's the perfect loose curls I wanted!

For reference, my hair is coarse, long, and thick so it doesn't hold curls particularly well. I used it on the 390 degree setting. I also LOVE how the barrel is longer than any other curler I've used!! Since I have long and thick hair, this is important.

So far I love this thing and hope it lasts a long time!

Amazing for Long Hair!

After a long time contemplating on purchasing one of these, I finally gave in and I don't regret it one bit!!! I have very long hair and have always struggled to find a curler to accommodate my hair length so the heat would be evenly distributed to better hold the curl. The beach waver solves this problem and many others. My hair has been bleached and is damaged, so I find it can become frizzy when I curl it; however, the beach waver made my hair smooth and weightless, but still added volume. Perfection!

It works..... if you want ringlet curls

I was apprehensive spending the amount of money to purchase one of these. But I did and at first was surprised. However to get the wavy curl desired for TODAY'S look this won't do it. The curls are more ringlet. No matter how you hold or angle it iron. I know bc I tried to make this work. I have long hair and so I purchased this model the 1.25 but still ringlet curls. Unfort for me a wand works better in giving me those curls I want and takes the same or less time than this. I ended up returning it

Great for anyone who isn't a salon stylist!

This is super user friendly!! Doesn't dry my hair and gives me consistent curls all over. If you're a newbie to curling hair and you have had past your collarbone, I totally recommend this.

My All Time Favorite

I have tried the regular curling iron, the Tyme iron and the wands as well but it didn't do what I wanted my hair to do. I hated them!! This Beachwaver is amazing. I have hair down to my mid back. It not only curls it but they stay in place. It doesn't take long once you get the hand of it. So far it's THE best curling magic wand I have ever owned in my 41 years. I was able to use my 20% coupon off of it which made the price that much better. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great loose curls!!

This really does create a different looser curl and I have had many people notice the difference and they all really like the curl. Very happy I bought it even though it's a little spendy it's worth it!!!

IN LOVE

I just bought this and used it for the first time and it is so easy!! I can't do anything with my hair but straighten it (not coordinated and don't know what I'm doing) but this makes it so easy. I just did my whole head in about 20 minutes and I have thick hair down to my lower back. I LOVE IT! Definitely an investment but so worth it!!

Beachwaver Pro 1.25

I have thick medium length hair and love the big soft curls this creates. It does take a few tries to get used to using it and then it's a breeze. Even though I curl small pieces 1-2 inche section & use a finishing spray, 3-4 hours later the curl has mostly fallen out.

Excellent product. The barrel was too large.

The product is a great one. My only complaint is that my hair is not long enough for this barrel size. I own the beachwaver in the smaller barrel and it is perfection. Should anything ever happen to it I will no doubt repurchase!

Worth every penny! Easy to use! Love it!

I don't like to spend a lot of money but this has given me the Beachy curls I could never get with other irons.

I straighten my tight curly hair with a blowdryer and then use the beach waver to put in long loose curls. I love it, worth the money.

Great if you have long hair

I like the concept of it spinning for you with simply just the push of a button, but as someone with shorter hair I don't really need it. Maybe if I had long hair I would have found more of a use for it. Also it's very long and a little hard to manage when holding it. Just ok. Not really necessary.

Not a good match for my hair

My daughter raved about this tool so I had to get one for myself. My hair is finer hair, and long layers. Did not make the type of curl I was looking for, nor did it last at all. It's packed back up and ready to go back.

Best curling iron. Ever.

I have extremely long, thick, curly, frizzy hair. After trying almost every curling iron known to man, this is the only one that gives me long lasting waves for days! And it cuts down my styling down by about an hour. I can't say enough positive things. Only con is that it's a bit bulky and does take a few times of use to get use to it.
