I bought this 2 weeks ago and my skin has gotten so much brighter and smoother. My skincare for the last 2 yrs was an everyday cleanser and a moisturizer. I've had acne scars on my cheeks since I hit puberty and nothing seemed to stop the pimples nor reduce the appearance, so I cut down on products. Then I saw someone recommend this product and after looking at the reviews I was convinced I should spend a bit more money on my skin care, and now my skin radiates! I used to hide behind my makeup everyday and now I feel happiest going out without makeup. I am so glad I got this.
What a relief things cleanser brings!
I recently had a miscarriage and my hormones have been out of control causing acne and red patches of breakouts all over my face. This cleanser has brought me relief everyday feeling the treatment and seeing the improvement to my skin. I was previously using the Countertime LIpid Defense Cleansing Oil (which I also love), but knew it was time to focus in on my acne - hence switching to this cleanser. I pair it with the Countercontrol All Over Acne Treatment and Countercontrol SOS Acne Spot Treatment.
Great product
I'm a 25 year old male with “normal skin” (not oily nor dry) and have always had some minor issues with acne and large pores. I am active and often times outside landscaping, working on cars, doing work around the house ect Due to this I needed a product that would gently remove all the stuff on my face at the end of the day. This is very gentle on my skin and doesn't leave it feeling dry. The small beads in the cleanser do great at gently exfoliating my skin. I follow it up with a face moisturizer (can be any brand). It also smells really nice. I'll be trying the mens version when they get it in stock
Surprisingly Gentle!
If there's one thing I could say to summarize all BC products, it would be: surprisingly gentle. I have sensitive skin and have always had trouble with skincare products so that caused me to not have a skincare routine much at all and to be very hesitant with most skincare. That has, thankfully, not been an issue with Beautycounter and I'm so grateful! This cleanser makes my skin happy, addressing dirty pores while remaining gentle. While working on years of buildup and lack of skincare, this cleanser has been a great addition for my skin's needs and sensitivities!

I recently purchased this cleanser along with some other beautycounter products for the first time ever. I have been looking for clean products to use because I have hashimoto's thyroiditis and most skincare products contain chemicals that are too harsh and cause my skin to react. So far, I have been loving every product I purchased, especially this cleanser! I like that it has exfoliating beads in it because it makes me feel like my face is being thoroughly cleansed. This cleanser not only cleans your face really well but it also smells amazing! I also have not had any breakouts since I started using this. I do not want to say definitively that this cleanser works for acne as I have only been using this product for just a little over 2 weeks but I am hopeful I will continue to have no breakouts using this!
Same great cleanser, but
I've been onboard with Beautycounter for at least the last 5-6 years. Most of their products are great (some seem like an overpriced overpromise), and I love that they were one of the companies leading the clean beauty trend. BUT. Lately I'm really disappointed with the direction their social media ads have taken. I'm sure giving your products to an influencer (I mean, throw a rock these days and you'll hit one) is cheaper than hiring models, makeup artists, photographers, videographers, etc. But the women they are featuring all seem to be under 30 with already perfect skin. I always appreciated that BC also seemed to support natural beauty, not surgically or otherwise augmented ones. I think that whatever women want to do to feel comfortable within themselves is fine, but the problem is the constant marketing of this as a norm. Please, bring back the classic BC!
Full-Throttle Cleansing!
I've purchased this product twice already even if the first one isn't yet completely empty. I just wanted a backup available right away soon as I run out. I was using the Curology cleanser before this for about 2 years, but since I'm always searching for better skincare for my annoyingly difficult skin type that is both combination and sensitive, I found this product and have been using it since and I honestly wouldn't stop unless the Countertime Cleansing Oil I recently purchased would work even better. I love the citrus scent of this product which probably accounts for the unfortunate experience I had with the All Bright C serum, maybe not, but oh well.. This cleanses my face completely removing excess oil and not drying my skin. I feel that it both balances the oiliness and dryness of my face keeping moisture on the dry parts and keeping the oily parts not so oily. I feel refreshed each time I use this without any type of irritation. And since it keeps it all balanced, I also don't get the occasional pimples. I highly recommend!
Best Facewash I've Ever Used!!
Leaves my skin feeling super clean, removes a light makeup application without additional cleansing needed, and never dries me out. The little jojoba beads give just the right amount of scrub without feeling aggressive. I only need the tiniest chocolate chip sized drop to cleanse my face so this bottle will last forever. That makes the price completely with it. I was actually using the travel size for WEEKS before I bought the big one. If you have sensitive, dry or combination skin this is a huge win product.
A pleasant product
I like it. I was debating between this and the Countertime cleanse, but since I have slightly oily skin decided I wanted something exfoliating. This cleaner has a pleasant scent, which is not overwhelming. The jojoba beads work without aggravating my skin. i'm left with a fresh, clean feeling. There is a slight tightening effect which is so subtle that you have to be really paying attention to how your skin feels and not applying anything immediately after to notice. It's a great change from other pore cleansing products that leave your skin feeling tight.
My favorite nighttime face wash
I love this face wash! I try to use gentle, non-stripping face washes with minimal "chemicals" in it, but that are still effective at cleaning my face. This has been challenging when it comes to finding a face wash that's effective against acne. This is the first one I have found that checks all the boxes I look for while actually working to help clear up acne on my face. I feel like my face is truly clean on a deep level after using this, but not tight, overly stripped, or sensitized from harsh chemicals. Within a couple of days of using this face wash at night, I saw a big difference in my skins overall appearance and the amount of breakouts I had. I am a forever customer of this product.
