So far so good!
I've been using this product for just over a week and so far so good! I really like how light it is — goes on really nicely and feels refreshing, even though it's quite a heavy-hitting moisturizer. I pair it with the Counter+ resurfacing peel (a few nights a week) and the Countertime radiance serum and my skin has been super moisturized. This is really saying something because it's been below freezing where I live this whole time. I'm not seeing amazing results on my hormonal chin acne (though the rest of my skin and neck/chest are looking great acne-wise), but I'm going to give it some more time to work there. Overall I'm really satisfied!!
Super moisturizing
Beauty counter products have always been my favorite since I first tried them. I ask for them for every birthday and Christmas, but when I don't get them I use other products. I have tried countless other moisturizers. Recently I started taking a necessary medication that dries everything out on me: my eyes, my mouth, and even my skin. Any nighttime moisturizer I was using, my skin would suck it in and by morning my face would be dry again. Not so with Countertime Tetrapeptide supreme cream. With this moisturizer, my skin still feels hydrated and so smooth in the morning. It is head, shoulders, and face above the others!
I love the product but
I love the product but am still waiting for containers that are easier to recycle or better yet , compostable. We have an obligation to our environment to be more responsible. Along with the night cream, I use several other products that I love and one of the is your face wash. Can you eliminate the pump? It's not recyclable and we continue to toss those in our landfills. I do limit the number if cosmetics that I use because of the environment. This is part of a new philosophy focusing on what we toss away called Zero Waste. It is taking ahold across our country. The movement is a series of steps that we can do to eliminate waste and the first suggestion in their list is to refuse anything that we can't reuse or compost. We simply can't continue to toss away what we use.
Effective product
My main concern has always been dry, rough skin and I was always struggled to find a product that is sustainable. None of the moisturizers have helped me specially in the world of clean skincare don't think there exists one. After reading reviews of Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream; decided to try it. After a week itself, I could see noticeable difference in my skin. It feels hydrated and soft. I am happy. Hoping the positive results continue. I have been using this cream at day and night as well. Sometimes, I use it over the overnight peel.
Finally....a moisturizer that does what it says!
The Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream is my go-to night cream AND my go-to day cream during the Winter months. I have very dry, but sensitive skin and this moisturizer is the first (out of a long line of failed attempts) to really make my skin feel soft, hydrated for hours on end. When I put it on at night, it does not have a greasy texture, but rather a thick dreamy quality. If you are wondering if that thickness is going to sink in, I wake up without a dry spot on my face. My skin finally does not have that "slept on" look to it. During the winter, I wear it on my driest cheek areas and even the wind does not destroy the barrier. It is the perfect moisturizer. Now....if only BC would make it in a travel container!
Helped heal my skin!
I have connective tissue disease and recently had a flare with a very bad rash and severe swelling in my face. With all my medications my symptoms my face was very dehydrated and unhealthy looking. I started using the tetrapeptide cream every night before going to bed and it immediately started making a difference. My skin was softer, smoother, less irritated, and my wisdom lines were significantly less deep. In fact I was so convinced after using this cream about the quality of products from BC, that I three away all the other products I had for face care and makeup. I am now only using Beauty Counter.
