Not for my mature skin
I like many of BeautyCounter products but this was not one for me. I purchased this not for being a serum or a primer but for its "glowy" properties. Thinking that I would get a brighter look underneath my matte foundation. This product did not irritate my skin but sat on it and didnt jive well with my other skin care products and foundation. My foundation actually slid around a bit. It does have little tiny light reflecting specs in it that does give a shine but made my skin look older, dryer and settled in wrinkles and pores. I see this product fun for a youthful person for a sunkissed glow.
Everything I have wanted for my skin!
Beauty counter truly is the best company I have purchased from. All their products do what they are designed to do and are super clean! My favorite thing is that there is minimal scent to their products which helps with my sensitive skin and hormonal breakouts. I was skeptical to the hype I've seen on social media, but these products really are worth the price. The Glow First Priming Serum really sets up your face with the perfect base for my concealer and or foundation. Makes my final look more radiant and glowy!
Really like this
I thought this was an unnecessary product before, but now that I've used it regularly, I won't apply makeup without using it first. I feel it helps improve the overall appearance of my skin and my makeup looks so much better on after using the primer first. I don't like heavy makeup so I only use concealer and a very light powder to softly even out my overall skin tone. The primer is great and helps gently moisturize my skin without feeling like I have lotion or something oily on. It seems like any problem spots on my face have been less oily as the day goes on.
My First Primer
I spin in color guard at my high school and we perform at football games and competitions. We wear a ton of makeup and my makeup in the past has looked patchy and didn't look good with my skin that tends to be dry. When I tried on the Glow First Priming Serum, my skin was moisturized and did not look dry, but rather appeared super smooth and healthy. The other girls who were doing their makeup, their makeup was patchier because either they didn't use primer or the primer they used didn't work well with their skin. One of the girls thought her issue with her patchy makeup was the hair on her face so she ended up dry shaving her face and cutting the bridge of her nose. She'd applied some random moisturizer before her makeup. I used to use moisturizer before putting makeup on and my skin was still super dry and looking cakey. But with the priming serum from Beauty Counter, I'm definitely glad I purchased this so my makeup can be on fleek and inspire the other color guard girls to purchase Glow First Priming Serum.
Cannot believe the difference
I did not start wearing makeup until my thirties because I felt like it was toxic stuff that caused people's acne, no one listened to me. I only decided to start because I wanted to look older to help me find a husband, but it felt toxic so I only used it on occasion. Now that I have tried your products, I am so impressed with how different it feels, I will never use another brand again. I am now married and trying for my first and product quality and safety are super important, now I feel the freedom to use natural looking makeup that isn't toxic to my health. I appreciate what you're doing and I'm eternally grateful
LOVE this primer!
Honestly, I bought this primer to be a blessing to my friend- I wasn't sure about it at all and I really (thought!) I loved the primer I had been using. Oh. My. Gosh! This primer makes ALL the difference and is 100 times better than the one I had been using the last 5 years! My foundation goes on smoother and lasts all day- and I'm talking about 16 hours days working with youth outside and cooking camp meals in a commercial kitchen. I highly recommend it and I won't be doing without it moving forward!
AH-MAZE-ING
I had never used a priming serum before. However on the occasion of my father's death, I had two days of viewings and the funeral to get through and I used this for the very first time. Not only did my makeup look Flawless and professionally done, it stayed in place through tears and did not run. I received countless compliments and I am thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend it to everyone and I will be using it from now on prior to using makeup on my face. It kept my pores flawlessly clear and 2 days later, I can report that there are no zits popping up. I cannot recommend it enough!

I have never used a primer before and this product is incredibly smooth and makes my skin feel wonderful and really makes me glow without being too shiny. I am a NICU nurse and before using this primer my makeup would be non existent at the end of my 12 hour shift but now I look as fresh at the end of the 12 hours as I did when I applied it ( very) early in the morning. Thank you for creating such an amazing product that is safe clean and that I am thrilled to share about with my friends and family
So far so good, except...
I really enjoy the Glow First Priming Serum. I've never used one before and decided to buy it after watching reviews. I put it on after cleansing/moisturizing and before applying my new Beauty Counter Foundation and Concealer. I apply it under my eyes as well. I notice the concealer still creases and settles into fine lines there. I've heard makeup artist Wayne Goss mention that a liquid concealer is better than a creamy concealer for not settling into fine lines. Is Beauty Counter going to make a liquid concealer with a satin finish? I thought the priming serum would solve the problem but alas, not. Still, I am really enjoying my new Beauty Counter products though. I went crazy spending $300 and I don't even know how to apply makeup but it's fun figuring out what works and what doesn't and what I would order again. Thanks for making clean beauty!
I love it!
I was super excited to use this product. I was looking forward to all the benefits it claims. When I use my skin twin foundation my face gets oily throughout the day (I have oily skin) but with this product, my face has this matte finish! My skin looks smoother and really lays well on my face. I was so pleased. I have worn it without makeup as well and my face is smoother and even. I don't really notice the "glow" but that's really ok with me because my biggest concerns are evenness and matteness. I can't wait to see what the long term effects will be for my face.
