BOKA Ela Mint Nano-Hydroxyapatite (n-Ha) Natural Toothpaste

Just got out of the dentist clean

I have tried so many different vegan and cruelty-free toothpastes, and this one amazed me. With foaming toothpastes, my teeth feel a little gritty afterwards, but with this one not foaming, my teeth feel super sparkly and smooth. I'm honestly obsessed with touching my tongue to my teeth because they're that clean. The toothpaste tastes so good it actually made my mouth water; it's like a soothing mint green tea. I feel super clean and at-ease because I know this toothpaste is good for me and good for the animals (because it's cruelty-free. Don't use this as companion animal toothpaste.)

Great Taste, seems to work well

I like the flavor, which is pleasant without lingering or being overpowering like some larger corporate fluoride brands. My only issue is that it's somewhat light, and I find myself wanting to use more of it to make sure I've covered all the places on my teeth.

Despite this and the lack-of-lingering flavor, I appreciate that I know it's an effective product that works via contact with the enamel and try not to eat or drink afterwards. But I also know that it's not dangerous and won't make everything taste horrific if I do!

Great Toothpaste

I have used this toothpaste for years. I take a liquid iron supplement every morning which makes my teeth look gray; however, this toothpaste does a great job getting rid of any stains. Additionally, I haven't had any cavities since starting to use this toothpaste, Since this toothpaste works so well, I have given the toothpaste and dental floss away as gifts.

Kudos to the people working here. When the post office lost the shipment, the company re-shipped the order. I know it was not the the fault of the company, yet they graciously made it right. (smile)

Scientifically proven to be better the fluoride!

I have been using Boka now for at least 5 years. I can honestly say it has remineralized my teeth. Now they always feel smooth as if I just had a cleaning at the dentist office . Also there is a brand new study which finds Hydroxyapatite shows a higher percentage of remineralization compared to Fluoride (better then exposing your childrens teeth to fluorosis and other fluoride associated risks). Loving the product!

The smell is amazing! The taste isnt overpowering. It definitely helps with sensitivity. Im currently whitening my teeth and this toothpaste has worked better than the sensitive toothpaste that the dentist recommended to reduce sensitivity. My only complain was the original order took way longer than 10 days to recieve. However, the customer service was prompt in responding and they definitely handled the issue to my satisfaction. Will definitely be buying this product regularly🙃 cant wait to try the other flavors

It's good stuff!

Started using Boka in early 2020. I had been searching for good n-HA toothpastes, and this one fit the bill!

I love the product, it works well, my teeth/gums always get good reports from my dentist. I just wish they'd come up with some non-mint, non-fruit, non-cinnamon flavors. I know that doesn't leave much to pick from, but my taste/smell is permanently destroyed/altered from covid, and I can no longer tolerate mint, fruit, or cinnamon flavors. That's the only thing keeping it from being a 5-star rating in my book.

Fabulous

I started getting this toothpaste for one of my kids. He has spots on his teeth and his teeth were kind of yellow so they were super noticeable but I wanted him to have a safe toothpaste. We tried this and his teeth started looking so much better within a couple of weeks! I tried it and liked it so much that now I use it as well. Over the past couple of years, my whole family has switched and we are very happy with it. The only downfall is that when it is Auto shipped and it's really hot outside the tube will bust. This has happened to us twice. That's why I only gave a "three" on the product design . The first time I let the company know and they immediately shipped a new one with no issues. Customer service was great.

Incredible

At first I was skeptical, as that is my base programming, that changing a toothpaste would be a big deal. I was wrong, and I'm happy I was. Not only do I notice a change in whiteness, but the overall cleaning of the toothpaste feels like it lasts longer. I think I remember seeing a Dr who recommended this product say that it leaves a kind of sheen on the teeth that acts as a protective layer, and after weeks of daily use I believe I see what he's talking about. I'm a coffee drinker so my teeth did yellow over time, but this paste seemed to remove that hue and restore its original color. Don't take my word for it, buy a single bottle and see for yourself. I didn't think that going from a regular toothbrush to a motorized one would make much of a difference, but it did. I had the same thoughts here, don't be like me just take the plunge.

Made the switch from conventional

I've been under the care of functional medicine for about 6 months and have begun to explore functional dentistry. I listened to an informative podcast by Dr Burhenne (AsktheDentist) and he suggested moving away from fluoride-based toothpaste ... so I did. He indicated his family used Boka at home so I decided to go with it as well. I like the flavor and the results. My teeth seem whiter too. I don't wet the toothpaste/brush prior to brushing and I don't rinse my mouth after the brushing, both recommended practices. Note- below I gave exceptional ratings for everything except Value as it's about twice the price of conventional toothpaste. I haven't taken the time to determine if it is a value relative to toothpastes similar to itself.

Stains and sensitivity are gone!

I purchased this because I was concerned about what was in regular toothpaste. While I was waiting for my order to arrive I noticed my teeth were not as white as I'd like them to be and I'd developed stains on my two front teeth. When I got my Ela Mint toothpaste, I'd brush and then put a little on my finger and rub it on my stained teeth and let it sit for about 15 minutes before drinking or rinsing. Within 3 days the stains were GONE. My teeth are several shades whiter and I have no sensitivity. It's weird not using water to brush and your mouth will feel fresh but not super minty and cool like other toothpastes. I would definitely recommend.
