Purchased for a friend and now I want one for myself

I absolutely love this Caboodles case. I purchased it for my friend, and ended up wrapping all of the makeup I got them, and storing it inside. It's such a fun gift. The colors are beautiful. It is also SO easy to store and find makeup inside.

PERFECT

I needed something to organize my makeup, and this perfectly fits the bill! It's a great size, way bigger than I expected, and there's tons of room too. Neatly folds up and takes up v. Little counter space.

cute but looks used

Been wanting one for a long time finally bought one but it came dirty. It looked like it had been used! It had smudge marks on the little mirror inside, which btw looks like it's going to fall off. It also had like this weird brown liquid in some of the cracks and edges…not sure what that is but I cleaned it all off and the outside was dirty as well and really scratched! I am still going to keep it but won't use it for my make up and use it better to keep stored away my art supplies.

Love my caboodle

I keep all my makeup in this and I love it. It's perfectly full but keeps things organized, and it prevents me from buying any more makeup because it's full. I usually keep it closed and sometimes keep it in the cabinet and it takes so much clutter off my countertop.

I would by this again

I love this product, I would by another one. The only thing is that it is expensive and the smell it super strong, it smells like plastic but the smell wares off. I definitely want to by the mini one too along with the other colors. I recommend this a lot.

Brought back to my childhood

So this totally brought me back to the 90's. I used caboodles to hold everything and wondered how I could use it as an adult. Well it fits my makeup perfectly! I love the mirror inside of it, it's also made just as well as I remember!

Perfect for travel and work!

I bought the purple/aqua combo because I had one like it in the 90's. I don't know why I ever got rid of it! I love my new purchase. I keep it in my office for an "essentials emergency" kit complete with travel size hairspray and dry shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, plus a full face of makeup.

Awesome and retro

Love this little case. I keep all of my go to makeup in it at home. I used to carry it with my to work in my duffle bag but recently got a smaller caboodle because this one is a bit big. Great for travel/overnight for sure. Overall great design!

Ehh...

So, mine came in an almost destroyed package. Luckily when I open it the caboodle itself was not damaged. It looked just as pretty as I remembered from my tween years. But, that's it. Upon opening it I could tell/feel the plastic was much cheaper/thin. The area where it closed didn't line up. The mirror was almost falling off and when it did fall off I could see why. All the held the mirror on was one small area of glue in the center.

I also purchased the mini size from another site and has the same issue. It quality.

Now, am I going to return it? No. I live too far to drive to the store and returns for something I can fix are a pain, especially during the holidays.

I can live with it and re glue the mirror.

Would I give it as a gift? Maybe, to another 90s lover or someone older that won't be rough.

This thing wouldn't last a year for me if I were a tween again and my original lasted so long my mother still uses it.

Came a bit scuffed in the mail

Mine came with some transfer marks from it not being covered so anything could have transferred. So there should've been a sleeve or something to protect it. But this has lots of room and makes me feel more organized than having everything in a makeup bag. My palettes all fit at the bottom. Even my Morphe 35F! The mirror is very nice too. The only thing it doesn't hold is my larger Bareminerals face powders. Still holds all of my other makeup though. It has a really strong plastic smell too. But I still recommend

Living my childhood!

It's exactly how I remember it! Wasn't always the most practical storage but for the nostalgia I'm storing some odds and ends in it and it's on display near my vanity! I had one as a tween and always will love a good caboodle!

Perfect for long trips in our camper!

Love this as I will use this in our camper to get ready when we go out. It has the perfect amount of space and comes with a mirror to make application easy. Keeps me organized and everything in one place!

Cheap and breaks easily

I was a big fan of the old caboodle and had a great one back in the late 80's. Bought this one and the clip falls open. First trip and the clip unlocked spilling all my expensive makeup. Now I have a box that doesn't stay closed. Save your money and buy something with a zipper. So disappointed I could cry. I should have known better because it even looks cheap but wanted it to work so much. Don't take the chance on this if you invest in makeup and palettes.

Nostalgia!

Bought this having in mind that the one I had back in the 90s was super durable but of coarse with any item from back then those were made extra durable these not so much as the plastic seems flimsy and not at all how it used to be. All in all it's very roomy and holds everything I need it to. I'll be purchasing another for my daughter as she fell in love and now I keep finding toys in mine 😂

now commencing massive nostalgia

I'm pleased to now know that Caboodles are every bit as practical & well made as I remember, based on the one my Mom had I was growing up. It looks cute on my dresser and makes me happy every time I stop to use it. Good buy.

I was so thrilled to see this. Brought back some memories of my childhood. I have been needing something for travel. I looked at more modern ones. They are cute, but they do not have a mirror. I want a mirror.

Love it! Just like the originals in the 90s!

Love this!! I got the vintage teal and lavender color- reminds me of one I had when I was a kid! Original caboodle style like this isn't going to be durable like a professional make-up box but as far as a plastic box goes, it's great! Quite roomie and as a makeup artist it's so fun having a case like this!

Finally!!

I've wanted a caboodle since I was 8 years old and found my mom's old one from when she was in highschool! Hers is still in great condition and mine is the same quality as hers from 20+ years ago!! i absolutely love mine it's super easy to organize all of my makeup in and it's so much better than a fabric case I feel like my makeup safe in here!! Would definitely reccomend to a friend!!

Love it!

I got this as Christmas gift and I am so happy with it! As a 90's baby it brought back so many memories and I think it might even be cuter this time around! The mint and lavender combo is stunning! So sturdy with so much space to store all your beauty goodies!

Could not be happier

this is perfect its exactly how I remember it, maybe yes slightly thinner walls but I feel like that's because it's made with stronger plastic now, does not feel like it may break easily at all. Also, the Mirror is sooo much larger than I remember, it's absolutely fantastic at least 7 inches tall and wide. Huge.

this is a gift for my niece I can't wait to see her face when she opens it.

Tbh I might get myself one too, when they restock those retro colors.
