Nice Concept but Cheaply made
I bought mine and loved it, but within a month the screws started to fall out and now it's broken. I've only had it for less than 3 months. For the price I'd think it would have been better quality. It does have great space but I would not purchase again because the quality is not great. Really disappointed cuz I have to spend more money now on another one. I'll probably look elsewhere for my new one
Love/Hate
I've had this train case for about 3 or 4 years. I've taken it on road trips approximately 5 to 7 times a year since I've purchased it. The first two years were ok, but I was always very gentle. Even still, eventually, the inner layer, the one that the trays are connected to, started to separate from the outer shell. I've been using binder clips to hold it together since. The size is great, the functionality is great, but you do have to be extremely gentle with it as the quality of the materials just isn't there. Even with gentle care, this is eventually going to fall apart. The inside is essentially cardboard covered in fabric, and the metal hinges are quite thin and flimsy. For the price of this, I do expect more. I'm not hard on this case by any means, but because theres so many trays and so much space, the materials used just don't seem able to withstand the weight of the products inside them. It lasted about 2 years before starting to fall apart. It's held together with clips now. Does it still work? Yes. However I don't think I would pay more than $30 for this model.
Horrible Quality
I waited a long time to purchase this train case because it was the only one big enough to for all of my makeup. When it arrived, the arms on both sides of the pull out trays were broken. Now I see how many terrible reviews it has. I'll be returning this as soon as possible. Big Mistake.
good while it lasted
I bought it around July and, wasnt big enough for all my make up but it never came apart from the weight, mid September the legs from the pull out trays came apart and were unfixable... it was good while it lasted..
Very disappointed
I had an older Caboodles case very similar to this that I absolutely loved. I needed something a little bigger, so I went with the same brand as my old one in larger size. I have had it just over a year and it is falling apart. My old one is still in great shape, just too small for my needs. I am very disappointed in how the quality of the products have diminished.
Love the case but returned and reordered another one
I received the case and instantly loved it. A week later I actually looked at it and one of the clasps that front was discolored and rusting. In the inside the fabric was not smoothed in the gluing process very well. Although I rec'd 10.00 off the case I did return it. I decided to try it again and re-ordered another one once I saw a 20 percent coupon. I ordered the other one before I returned mine so I wouldn't get the same one back.
Love the number of storage compartments
This is my second one to purchase.I store all my makeup here and the compartments makes it easy to organize and find what I need in the mornings quickly. My one complaint is that the metal joints wore out easily on my prior one.
Nice Size!
It's a nice size for wknd or overnight stays. The day I bought this one it was broke and I didn't notice until I got home, so I used super glue to fix it because it was the only one left in that model. :(
Love but don't last
bought mine last January, I use it for make up storage, I never take it anywhere, but, the shelves just un hooked from case, I bought one for a friend last year bc hers did the same thing, they don't last long, but I love it. it's disappointing.
