Cheaply made

Caboodles are not what they used to be. this is literally cardboard covered in fabric and the sides are not secure along all four walls. I can bend them in easily. Feels like it won't last very long. Definitely will not be using this to travel as it will definitely get ruined easily. For what you pay this is seriously disappointing. It's cute.... but definitely not a solid product.

skip it and buy something else.

Bought as a gift

I bought this as a gift for my niece but when it arrived it felt cheap. The top was stuck and i had to pry it open. The trays are made of cardboard covered in a satin fabric. I think that it will not last every long and it will be difficult to clean. It is a really cute design but all in all I do not thing it is worth the price and I will be returning it and getting her a different one,

Bad batch?

Looking at the reviews here I must have gotten a case from a bad production batch because the reviews do not match what I received. Perhaps I've been spoiled by my other "pro" Caboodles train case. All I know is that the case I received was NOT worth what I paid and I even got it on sale. All of the riveting was very loose and the top does not close "flush". I also did not expect it to be primarily made out of cardboard (my other case is aluminum but I expected this to at least be plastic under the lace). Unfortunately I needed it right away so I had to redo the riveting myself to make it functional and I can't return it now. It is a cute looking case, but I honestly feel it is worth almost half what I paid.

Given the other reviews here, maybe I did get a bad one. I'll admit that I haven't seen another one in person. Just in case, I wanted to share my experience. Hopefully no one else ends up as disappointed as I am.
