CeraVe Makeup Removing Cleanser Cloths

Somethings fishy about this product

I have the whole line up of cervae products that works for my skin. Been using cervae for about 2 1/2 years now. This use to be a very good product. Even up until last year. Lately every pack I buy has this fishy smell and it is not cheap so to buy in packs like I did was a huge mistake. I used them on my face a few times and I was put off and offended by how fishy it smelled. I wondered all day, could anyone else smell it. Now I fret using them because if I smell the fishy wipes, why would I put them on my face so others could smell the fishy wipes. Now I have wipes I cannot even use or return.

I see the other reviews that it burns them, and I don't doubt it because the CeraVe hydrating face wash does that to me when I'm very dry and cracked. However right now I have a really solid moisture barrier, so I have absolutely no issues. They work well, are super soft, and don't leave my face feeling dry. I specifically bought them because I was looking for something with a baby wipe texture. These are definitely that. I really like them, worth a try imo!

never in my life

I have never had makeup removing cloths burn my skin! I took off lipstick and it felt I was about to swell and my mouth burned soo bad. I took water to my face to stop it. later on I tried again just on my face and it burned again! it's so uncomfortable, I read the ingredients too. I don't know what's in it causing this but it was the worst cleanser and cloths aren't even soft.

These Make up cloths made me face turn instantly red and hurt hurt hurt!! Usually my face can handle some harsh chemicals on it…but wow these wipes are so terribly burning, scratching and Left little red bumps all over where I applied the wipe.

There's no way they did testing on the wipes with how many reviews are saying that it burns when applied. I don't understand. Would never recommend or buy again!

AMAZING MAKEUP REMOVING WIPES!!!

I have never liked facial wipes until I tried these new CeraVe Hydrating Makeup Removing Wipes! My skin feels so comfortable after using them and they work so well at removing make up! I love that they're plant-based as well! After my make up is removed I use my CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and Toner! My face is totally clean and free of makeup after and feels so hydrated!

I love CeraVe products

I love CeraVe products because I have sensitive skin and the ingredients have never caused any irritation! This one specifically removes make up really well, including water proof mascara. I keep a pack in my purse when I want to freshen up my face through out the day when I don't wear make up too. It does the job without leaving products or oils behind and doesn't create any redness like I would get from other brands! Definitely worth a try!

I'm surprised with all the negative reviews but I love these wipes . I actually like these better than the standard neutragena wipes . My skin is oily and when I wear makeup I definitely need something that does not clog pores and cleans well without over drying and this does the job . Not to mention the added ceramides and niacinamide ingredients are awesome

Overall good despite the burn

Like others have said, you definitely can feel a tingle or burn when using these (and it lasts). But I really wasn't bothered enough to not buy them again and again. It hurts but I don't see any lasting skin problems. Quite effective at cleaning my skin, and just the right moisture for a wipe, and with good packaging. I love these for camping. Basically I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the burning part but I'm going to keep buying them either way.

I REALLY like these. My skin can be temperamental at times, and I find these to not be overly greasy where it causes my skin to break out. I usually don't wear much makeup, so I find it great for a daily wipe. They really aren't great at removing tough makeup, though. Oh, and they have no scent, which is wonderful!

Don't buy! These wipes burn my skin.

I do not frequently use makeup removing wipes (I usually double cleanse with oil), but I have used the Neutrogena wipes in the past with great success. I saw these and thought they'd be even better since they were fragrance free, made for sensitive skin, and contained ceramides. Boy was I wrong. This wipes cause my face to get very hot feel and intensely burn. As a result I end up with very red, raw-feeling skin. Don't buy these.
