Great cleanser ffor a good price

The Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser is a great cleanser especially for those of us with dry and maturing skin. I'm t gives an awesome clean feeling without stripping away all of f your natural moisture and actually has hyaluranic acid in it to add moisture to the skin while cleansing. I've paid a whole lot more from r cleansers sun the past and after I tried this one, I no longer saw the need to spend more money on a cleanser. One pump cleanses the face and the neck and the biggest bottle lasts forever with only one pump needed. It has no smell and is a gel to cream type texture. I'm t doesn't foam up. I highly recommend this product if your looking for a great cleanser.

Gentle, moisturizing cleanser

My skin has been so dry this winter, so I decided to give this cleanser a try. I have to say I really like it! It almost looks like a moisturizing shampoo and it does not foam on your face. It removes all my makeup easily and doesn't leave my face feeling tight, itchy, or dry after cleansing. It has made a tremendous difference in my skin's ability to retain moisture and hydration, and this is my new favorite! If you have dry skin and want something gentle, but still able to remove makeup, give this a try!

Super Nice & Gentle

I read an article that said spending money on expensive cleansers didn't matter since they didn't spend very much time on your skin. While I have an appreciation for other cleansers with different ingredients in them, prior to branching out more in my skincare routine, this was a staple and I'll probably keep purchasing it. It didn't break me out or dry me out. I have somewhat oilier skin in the summer and very dry skin in the winter. This cleanser did me well during both seasons! It gets makeup off fairly well, but may need two rounds. I don't have anything bad to say about it, it is a very basic cleanser, but one of the best drugstore face washes.

Deserves more stars!!

I've bought everything from proactiv, dermalogica, it cosmetics, drug store products, you name it I bought it. NOTHING WORKED. This was a last ditch effort for something daily friendly for combination skin with horrendous purging hormone acne. I had massive bumps from ear to ear in my lower chin and sides of my face. Within the week most of it had cleared. I still am in shock over how well it has worked! I paired it with the CeraVe hyaluronic acid facial lotion with ceramides and I will never buy anything else!!

Definitely one of the best drugstore face washes!

I used this face wash all throughout high school. I have normal to dry skin. I really didn't think that I would like the lotion texture of this face wash. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. This doesn't dry my face out or make it oily. It's perfect for combination skin. 

I have found this is a good every day cleanser because it does not contain a lot of drying ingredients. However, I would still recommend using a moisturizer after washing.

 overall, this is not my most favorite face wash of all time, but it is the best considering the price!

CERAVE HYDRATING FACIAL CLEASNER - Great For Dry S

This facial cleanser is perfect if your dealing with dry skin, especially during the winter time. I find not only does it not strip your face of it's natural oils but it instead adds moisture to the skin. I have used this cleanser for about 4 years now and my skin has never been better. My skin tends to dry up throughout the day and especially under my makeup, it'll make my skin look dry and patchy. Pairing this with a hydrating skincare routine will change your life and even how your makeup looks. The best thing is, it's inexpensive and lasts a good while. It's so worth it!

How well it works depends on what you're looking f

I honestly did not like this product. I got it awhile ago and gave it to my mom. It does not leave your skin with that "squeaky clean" feeling. To me, it sorta felt like I had a thin layer of Vaseline or Aquaphor on my face that wouldn't wash off. It's a weird feeling. Don't let that discourage you from trying it out, though, I was just looking for something else. But, I can definitely say this is a hydrating face cleanser. Since it leaves that feeling, you know for sure it is not stripping your skin of everything. It leaves that feeling on the skin because that is the hydrating part, and your skin does not feel dry at all after using it. I might give it a second shot, but I personally prefer to have my skin feeling clean and dry after I wash it, and then I just go in with a moisturizer to fix the dryness. I also read that this product is good if you use some sort of Retinol because they can be extremely drying, and it's important to make sure you retain lots of moisture to prevent flaking. So overall, I don't think it's a bad product at all, in fact I think it's good and it is definitely hydrating. But again, it really just depends on what you are looking for and what your preferences are.

Not great.

I've always used the blue cerave daily facial cleanser. When I went to restock, they were sold out and only had this. Thought I would try it since it looked the same but with extra moisturizing. Tbh I'm not impressed..at all. The blue one is a clear facial cleanser that sudds up when you rub it together. This one does not at all, it is a white cleanser and it literally feels like rubbing conditioner on your face. 🤮 Honestly washing my face is the most important part of each shower to me and honestly the part I look forward to. 😂 Since I bought this cleanser I dread washing my face because of how it feels. ( I always avoid getting conditioner on my face and this feels like I'm doing exactly that.) It does not feel like it is cleaning my face at all but I will admit when I'm out the shower my face does feel clean… and also VERY DRY. It's probably more drying than the original daily wash which makes no sense because it's supposed to be moisturizing. Anyways I've started getting a bunch of little bumps on my face after only a few days of using this product. My face has been clear for 98% of my life and now I have little bumps along my hairline on my forehead, on my chin, and on my cheeks. AFTER ONLY A FEW DAYS USING IT. I don't know what else to say besides that I thought this would be SIMILAR to the daily cleanser and it's absolutely NOT. I honestly hate it and dread using it every day. It's so bad I had to go searching for ANYWHERE to write a review and I rarely write them. I gave it 2 stars because my face feels clean but the actual product and results are wack but I mean some people like it so.. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

A Winter Must Have!

I really like this CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, especially in my wintertime skincare routine. It gives an extra hydration boost for my dry skin with the hyaluronic acid while strengthening my skin barrier with the added ceramides. I use it am/pm. One pump is enough for me to cover my face and neck. It has a lotion texture once pumped so there is barely any lather but yet feels like it lathers when on your face. A really nice clean feeling without that tight sensation I sometimes run into with some cleansers. Leaves my skin feeling really soft even before applying the rest of my routine. Price point is great! One bottle lasts me about 2ish months with am/pm use. This would be a great option for someone with sensitive skin but any skin type could benefit from using. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I can't use it in the summer as it provides too much hydration for me in the warmer months.

Staple Face Wash

I have been using this face wash for the last 6 years. It works wonders removing my makeup while still keeping my face hydrated - I haven't had to use makeup wipes or remover in years!

I do use this as my first cleanser and layer another face wash (Kiehl's) when washing my face as otherwise, this doesn't remove any oil that might build up throughout the day.

Overall, you really can't go wrong with this facial cleanser, especially if you, like me, have sensitive skin that gets a rash with most products.
