CeraVe Travel Size Moisturizing Cream for Normal to Dry Skin with Ceramides

Major Dissapointment

I've been using CeraVe for Lichen Sclerosis. Which is a very painful disease with ulcers, for 10 years, I noticed the areas of my skin have slowly gotten worse. I use your moisturizer all day long every day. Then I realized your cream was thinner. People are using this for serious skin disorders. You think you can just change formulations and no one is going to notice. Americans are noticing. Boeing didn't think anyone would notice either. My Dermatologist at Vanderbilt told me to change to Eucerin. I've been in severe pain for 6 months because it took that long for me to catch on. I will never buy your products again. I used to buy your product every month for 10 years. Shape up, you're messing with peoples health

Surprisingly horrible

Tried swapping to a more affordable moisturizer with spf but this is not worth it. The only way its wearable is by patting it into your skin so it doesnt pill, and this takes a while bc it doesnt soak in easy. But then you cant put anything on top of it. At all. Or it will 100% pill.

A daily moisturizer should not require this much effort. Also it doesnt wear on top of serums. I had to rewash my face and start over bc it was so clumpy.

Im gonna try to get through it on no-makeup days bc i dont want to throw it away but no one else should waste their money on this!!!

It seems the reviews on this are for other cerave stuff. Not this trash.

Pills up and difficult to spread

I bought this on the recommendation of an Ulta employee. I've found that unless I mix it with my Clinique Overnight Moisture Surge moisturizer, I have a hard time rubbing it across my face.

Mixing it with moisturizer also prevents it from pilling up as badly (it still pills up though, just not as bad).

However, alone, this pills up the more I rub it into my face and seems to dry down pretty quickly. Usually the warmth of my hands to my face will help sunscreen absorb better, but since this dries kind of fast, no amount of rubbing will move it and that's when it pills. I do not find that this adds a white cast to my face. But honestly I'm okay with a white cast than cancer on my face.

Amazing

I've been very reluctant to use this on my face since I have designated gel creams I use. But I accidentally pumped too much for my arms that I thought I'll just use this cream as a hydration seal for my face. It is amazing on my skin that I've stopped using my other face creams and just use CeRave. I don't wear make up at all due to my job. It doesn't aggravate my chin that tends to get more breakouts whenever I switch to something else. Super hydrating and I just love how it feels on my skin. I feel glowing whenever I use this.

too thick

i love cerave and LOVE their lotion that comes in the bottle with the pump and supposedly this is the same thing but the consistency is just too thick and leaves my face too oily and for some reason it breaks me out more than anything has ever broken me out. i'm on tretinoin so i look for thick moisturizers that will help with the purging stage but this lotion absolutely messed my skin up. i would recommend the bottle of cerave lotion with the pump it's the "same" thing but it's not it is so much lighter and doable but leaves me very moisturized still. i use this tub of moisturizer now on my arms and chest area after exfoliating before layering my other lotions and it does what needs to be done just wouldn't ever repurchase

Yes!!

My face started peeling like crazy after using tretinoin, and literally not even Vaseline was helping. I finally gave in and purchased this cream, and it immediately started working. It's very thick, and goes on nicely. It's given me zero irritation, and zero clogged pores. I do highly recommend it be used with other products if you plan on using it on your face. This is not exactly a facial cream, so it lacks all the other chemicals our facial skin needs to continue to have healthy glowing skin.

Also it works wonders on hand and feet. It a really good cream for your skin.

Great, basic moisturizer

I have naturally dry skin and after hearing so much positivity surrounding this moisturizer, I was lucky to get a sample to try it out. Formula continues necessary ceramides for skin barrier support and repair plus hyaluronic acid for long lasting hydration. For me, the texture was nice, but once I applied it, I knew it just wasn't for me. This left an almost powdery feeling and just wasn't moisturizing enough. I do like that it doesn't contain any irritating ingredients and it is perfect for a compromised barrier and it's fragrance free. You really can't beat it for the price and the huge jar you get. I would recommend it when needed for barrier support and healing but only that, not as an everyday moisturizer. I think there are better options out there.

Perfect for sensitive, combo skin

Alrighty, I have been on a journey to find a great moisturizer with clean ingredients - something that is good for combo skin (classic oily t zones) and very dry skin everywhere else. THIS IS THE ANSWER, my face has never been better-moisturized

So you know those moisturizers that are so light you feel like they aren't working? Or those moisturizers that are so thick you feel like you're slugging? Well Cerave Moisturizing Cream is the PERFECT in between.

I'm honestly so happy with it, it's one of my fav moisturizers and I'm pretty boogie when it comes to my skincare. Def a win here, you can't go wrong!

Average at best

I generally have oily, sensative skin but after recently getting into skin care, I bought this moisturizer in hopes of both helping my skin stay fresh but keep me safe with the SPF 30. Although I like it, its a bit oily on my skin and makes me look shiny than moisturized. It also leaves a white film on my face and it takes a bit of massaging into my skin to get it to go away. I usually feel soft for a few hours before feeling dull and oily. It's an average moisturizer in my opinion, and it works, but it's not the best for me.

exceeded expectations

this is the best moisturizer i've ever tried, and keeps my skin plump and clean. i absolutely love this. when i first purchased it, i was slightly in denial, one because the packaging isn't the cutest🤣, and two because i wasn't sure if it was the right texture for me. but WOW. this moisturizer is thick, but perfect for really any skin type. use less for oily skin, and more for dry skin. i have combination skin so this just worked wonders when used correctly in amount. it gives that "slugged" look and relaxed feel and is cold to the touch always. my skin is always soft after letting it sit. at first application, it's abit sticky, but it really is the best in the end. (slightly scented)
