Luxurious holistic inspired luxury facial mask

This mask is essential to my routine and can be used in so many ways!

Every week, after cleansed dry skin, i will apply a generous layer to the skin for 10 min for a revitalized and fresh look.

Or, simply leave on for 2-3 min on clean dry skin and rinse before make up application for a evened skin tone and effortlessly preped skin for make up application.

The texture is a smoothable paste that drys comfortably on face without feeling tight, or flakey. It does have a orange color tint and neutral smell.

I love the ingredients that are so carefully selected by Chanel Research, like the clay and vitamin E.

Channel for men

I am a man, and I know there are very few reviews by men. This is not an exfoliating mask, it will not dry out like clay masks and change colors to let you know it is done. It won't smell like sandalwood or tobacco or 1900's leather. It smells fine, girly? I mean maybe. But Acqua di Parma, Chanel Bleu, Jovoy Paris, they all have parfums for men that are similar so to each its own. Besides you will wash it off so you will be fine.

This mask works. After a long night, after a night shift, when you need a mask to help you bring your face back to normal without drying it or help removing black heads this is it.

For a clay mask Acqua di Parma has an amazing clay mask. And Chanel Bleu line for men doesn't have as many skin products as I wish (2 in 1 moisturizer only), so we have to make due with piggy backing off the women's.

This mask is soft and doesn't dry down to a hard finish. It makes my skin glow!

My favorite mask

I love this mask. I have used many different clay masks — one of my other favorites is GlamGlow's Supermud — but honestly, this takes the cake for being my very favorite. The reason is because it is so smooth and gentle, but it's an incredible deep purifying cleanser that leaves your skin cleansed and your pores detoxified. Rather than stinging or burning upon application like some cleansing or exfoliating deep masks, this one sinks into your skin and feels smooth and whipped like it's moisturizing. It dries down and absorbs oil and impurities but when I wash it off, my skin isn't tight or red or irritated — rather it's hydrated and calmed and comfortable. I can do this mask up to 3x per week without any harsh effects on my skin. I do it after days when I've had particularly heavy makeup or sunscreen on and it has become my favorite part of my skincare routine. Not to mention it's Chanel, so it's ultra luxurious! I find that I reach for it far more than the other clay masks I have on hand simply because it's so gentle. That means I use it up faster than those masks, but that's fine by me because ounce per ounce I think it's slightly more affordable than the others, especially Tatcha's which is very costly. I have also used it for a few minutes before taking a shower on days when I have to wear lots of makeup for an event. Leave on for 7-8 minutes, shower and rinse the excess off your skin, and emerge with beautifully mattified skin! Makeup goes on better if you do this trick, but you can't really replicate this method with many other clay masks because you run the risk of having redness or irritation because of how abrasive they can be. Get this and you will be very pleased! Amazing product from Chanel. 10/10 cannot recommend enough.

This is a beautiful mask. Cleanses, purifies brightens the skin. I can see the difference even on one time use. Chanel is the best. Pricey but the top I ever tried.
