I have sold Clarins for 15 years, still use the products but this cleanser is not the same and it burns my eyes. Years ago it burned the eyes and they changed it, you must of put something back into it to burn again.Very dissapointed! Will look around

prefer this to the cottonseed

I moved from the cottonseed cleanser about 2 years ago and went with another product. My face never felt clean and I never got a good lather. This new hydrating is, for me, fabulous! I love the lather I get, I follow the instructions and when I add the water to the cleanser in the palm of my hand, wonderful suds but no soap. It is true that it is hard, but since I am putting onto a dry palm, I really have control over how it comes out. My face feels clean, I love it. Good to be back with a Clarins product.

My daughter loves this product

I buy this product for my 14 year old daughter. This is like the fourth time I believe that I have bought this product for her. It has completely cleared her face. She had a lot of acne on her face and by using this product it has completely cleared her face she loves this product and I would recommend this product to anybody 100%.

Do not like this

It is difficult to squeeze out of the tube. It does not foam. So, even though the skin care quiz recommended this cleanser, I am going back to the mousse. That on actually foams, and feel nice on my skin.

Used to be a great product

I was taken aback when I went to use this cleanser. It has a hard consistency and reminds me of lard and is so stiff, it is hard to squeeze it out without getting a lot of the product coming out.

Also, I do not know what Clarins did to the fragrance. I once enjoyed the refreshing smell and now, it's taken on an industrial (reminds me of something I would smell in a mechanics shop) fragrance to it and it stinks.

I will be cancelling my autofill to find another product. I started using Clarins a few years ago and I see a shift in your product line in a negative way.

Also, if you are going to answer, please do not patronize me with that boiler plate message; that is very insulting and disrespectful.

HELPED MY ACNE

My skin feels so clean after every use, I have a lot of impurities/acne and ever since I started using this cleanser I've noticed such a difference in my skin such as, lighter hyperpigmentation, less acne and overall skins elasticity is rebalanced. I know there's a lot of mixed reviews on this product but it genuinely helped me but yet again everyone is different.

Pleasantly Surprised

This face cleanser is super gentle on the skin. It does have a perfume smell, but I have sensitive skin and I had no issues. I was also impressed on how well it took off my makeup with such a little amount of product.

Great cleanser - wrong packaging

Ok, here's the deal . . . after reading several reviews, I was hesitant to try. Yes, it takes a little more work to get a lather but it's worth it. This is a cream/foam cleanser that will give a soft luxurious lather (lather in hands 1st and then spread onto face). Repackage this in a way that one can scoop out w/fingers. It is rather trying to squeeze out from the tube (too thick). I think the product is worthy and would get the respect it deserves if it was repackaged.

Disappointing new "foaming" cleanser

Doesn't lather. Disappointment; after 30 years of using the gentle foaming cleanser with cottonseed, this new stuff doesn't compare. Thick and goopy, no lather, skin feels slimy, not clean,after using.

Pls bring back cottonseed Gentle Foaming cleanser

All the products that were created to replace the Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Cottonseed are subpar. They don't foam as well and require more product. I've been shopping around with other brands trying to find a substitute. Please bring back the Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Cottonseed. It was the best product I've ever used.
