Clarins Purifying Gentle Foaming Cleanser

Keeps my face clean and balanced for 10h

The only gentle face soap I like for oily skin. I use the product daily and is soft and purifying. Using it sometimes with the green purifying toner specially when I have breakouts and it does help healing deeply and quickly. The soap itself is amazing and one can really feel the effect of the "no pollution complex". Skin keeps really clean and fresh all day. This product is a must if you have combination-oily skin with acne or prone to acne.

Amazing cleanser. Possibly best ever

I randomly grabbed this at the store; I have never seen this product before or have seen any advertisements for it. Which I usually am the most influenced consumer….. anyways… I am blown away. I have tried it all. I have combo skin, acne prone, always shiny, always with some texture or clogged pores and a zit here and there. I usually relied on products with a lot of actives. For some magical reason this cleanser just works. My skin is calm, matte, and soft. Not many pimples popping up these days. Clarins. Please I beg you to keep producing this product because I am devoted to this cleanser. I will continue to purchase it and will consider exploring the rest of the line as well. Cheers!

I love this cleanser, but…

I have purchased this several times, and it is a favorite skin cleanser of mine. The only issue is that the consistency of the most recent cleanser that I purchased is different than before. It is extremely waxy and very hard to get out of the tube, such that when I squeeze it hard enough to get any product out, too much shoots out and is wasted. It works just as well, so I will keep it to avoid the hassle of a return or exchange. I feel like I got ripped off a bit because the product is being wasted. I may have to cut the tube open and transfer it to another container.

Genius Multi-Tasker

Need a cleanser that detoxes without drying skin out, reduces acne and can be used as a smart mask too? You want it You got it!!!! Life changing esp during Maskne Post Pandemic. Overall it works well on my skin

I have sensitive oily to combination skin, sometimes other cleansers will dry my skin out or cause irritation. This product has really helped me control the oil but not dry it out. I love the small blue pebbles which dissolves on my skin as I rub. The smell of this product is also very refreshing. I've used this product (and the one before it) for 3 years now and it hasn't caused irritation, it always made my skin feel smooth and refreshing. The only thing is it is a little pricey, but I've used the same bottle for more than half of a year, so it has been a good investment.

Too bad

I used the Purifying Gentle Foaming Cleanser for years. I was surprised when it was reformulated. It leaves my skin feeling unclean and like there's something left on it no matter how much I rinse it. I had to find a cleanser from a competitor. I would love to have the old one back. The same goes for the accompanying toner. I won't use it anymore, either.

This is not a suitable...

This is not a suitable replacement to the Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I miss the old one. You lose so much product in this container that I literally have to cut it open at the end and still have 2 weeks left of product. Looking for a new product.

No bueno

The tamarind cleanser was so much better. Why would you change it? This new formula is nothing like the old cleaner, which I have used for 10-15 years. It's thick and heavy and my skin doesn't feel clean. And I guess it isn't clean either, because it made me break out for the first time in years. Will definitely be looking for a new brand, since it seems all of the clarins cleansers were reformulated. I can't believe I let the TSA confiscate my last tube of the good stuff!

Bring back the old formula please

I hate to leave bad reviews for a product, but this new cleanser is a no no for me. I have tried to get used to it but still not working. Please bring back the old formula with tamarind. It lathers and cleans the very well. The new cleanser has a thick paste and i have had to use too much just to cleanse my face.
