Clarins Purifying Toning Lotion with Meadowsweet

Very disappointed

I have been using this toner for over 10 years and loved everything about it. Why would you change the formula?

It's smells horrible!

The toner was green in a clear bottle, now it's a clear toner in a green bottle. This is called scamming customers.

Time to look for another brand

Changed formula!

I am it at all happy that they changed the formula. This is the second product with a changed formula which is not as good as the old one. Dissatisfied. Will consider alternatives. Sorry. Loyal Claris customer for 30 plus years.

The Iris formula is better!!!!

I Love the Lotion Toning with Iris..... I bought the new one without realizing this change but sadly the New formula caused me an allergy in 5 minutes, my face felt hot and then turned very red... Please bring Back the Iris.

Bring back Iris!

I didn't realized the formula was changed for this "green" toner. Didn't even noticed the different label. But I noticed right away the fragrance was different and doesn't have the same feel. Bring bring back the Iris toner. This is the product that makes me want to try others products from Clarins. Bring back your classics that loyal customers want. Bummed.

Love how this makes my skin feel after! Really does help with oil control. I love them because this has no alcohol in it, so it is not drying to the skin at all!!! I have eczema on my eyelids, and this does not give that burning affect after.

Changed and ruined yet another product

Clarins discontinued the foundation that was PERFECT in color, texture, and coverage and replaced it with something that is a rubbery mask, discontinued the perfect light moisturizer, and now has discontinued a wonderful toner. While this kind of works OK, I do not like the scent and do not like the feeling left behind, a little sticky. Iris was great, used it for years. I am finishing this bottle and then this is yet another product type I'll have to find elsewhere. I guess the policy is to introduce new products to keep up interest, but the classics were better. (Please don't bother with the standard apology reply.)

New Formula = Not A Winning Formula

As other reviewers have described, the new formula is definitely different. I don't find it different in a good way. It does leave my skin sticky, thick and congested feeling. The scent is off-putting. Definitely not a product I will use in the future.

Bring back the Iris!

IThis new formulation is just awful! I have been using Clarins toner for many years, no matter what other toner I would try I always came back to the Clarins Iris toner. I tried this new one and was totally disappointed! I guess I will have to go on a quest for a new brand of toner as I absolutely cannot use this new formulation, the smell is overpowering and it leaves my skin feeling sticky. Change is NOT always a good thing.

Old Formula was a winner, new formula is trash

For the customers that have never used the old formula and started with new formula, I'm really sorry to say that you truly missed out. The old formula with Iris smelled so wonderful and refreshing. The toner truly balanced out my skin pH level, it dried quickly after applying yet kept my skin hydrated before putting on moisturizer. Now the new formula not only smells WAY too strong and really horrible, but also leaves a uncomfortable texture on my skin after applying. Clarins, please please bring back the old formula. You don't have to invent just for invention's sake. You are losing loyal customers from what I'm reading in recent reviews.

I've been trying to up my face routine since I'm in my 30's... so I took Clarin's quick quiz on what they suggest my routine be. I had never used any type of toner before, so figured I'd try it out, and OH MY why haven't I been using this?!!! I love the smell, the feel, everything. I can tell a noticeable difference in my face as well, I just love this stuff so much.
