Different formula
I got this toner since my favorite was is discontinued. This formula is very oily and feels like leaves residue, also the consistency is thickened and makes my face feeling with a layer or chemicals instead of clean and fresh. Won't get it again. Bring back previous formula please!
Excellent results, not sticky, thin gel.
I love the way this product feels on my skin and the moisturizing result. It does not feel sticky or oil, but more like a quick drying thin gel.
The largest bottle holds a very generous portion.
My only minor complaint is the scent. I personally did not like it, but others may. Still, it dissipates quickly. IMO, I am hoping they improve the aromatherapy aspect of this product, if possible.
Why?
Haven't your loyal customers convinced you to bring back the Extra-Comfort Toning lotion? I'm searching other brands for something to compare. Clarins had the perfect toner… cannot get over it was discontinued! I don't care for any of these new toners. Gave 1 star because had to rate otherwise it would be zero.
Soooothing!
I purchased this product to help with the redness on my cheeks. My skin is very dry and prone to rosacea. I noticed immediately this toning lotion is more viscous than the Hydrating version. My pink cheeks were thanking me immediately. I pat the product on and let it soak in until dry

I read some reviews about this product and some people felt it was oily so I was a little skeptical and I tried it first in a sample. I can't believe how wonderful it is! It's by far my favorite product right now and I just bought it again! It goes on so smooth and my skin absorbs it really fast and leaves me feeling great. Plus the smell is simply wonderful!
Not up to Clarins standards
I've been using this toner for about six months as a replacement to the original Chamomile toner Clarins discontinued. I don't care for the strong fragrance and this formula has a thick consistency to it that leaves my skin feeling slightly sticky. I would say it does a decent job toning my skin before I apply the serum, but there is no comparison to the original Chamomile toner that left my skin feeling clean, refreshed and amazing. I'm not repurchasing the Soothing Toning Lotion again and am looking for a new product.
Bring back Extra Comfort Toning product!
Do not like it when compared to Clarins Extra Comfort Toner. My skin is very dry, and the Extra Comfort Toner was so much more moisturizing and softening for my skin, and I loved its fragrance which was clean and fresh! DO NOT CARE FOR this toner's fragrance.

Please Bring Back Extra-Comfort Toning Lotion!! This one is not as good as the previous one. It's thicker and doesn't smell good. I can't understand why Clarins stop selling the orange Extra-Comfort Toning Lotion. It is a great product.
Ugh! Castor oil!!??
When I saw chamomile on the bottle, I thought I was buying a new packaged (pink now) version of the extra comfort toner that also had chamomile, but this is greasy. Oil droplets are visible in this more viscous solution. Soooo... looking at the ingredients I found that it contains glycerin and, drum roll please.... CASTOR OIL!!! ARGH!!
My sensitive skin cannot tolerate this. I miss the clean, fresh felling and the mild chamomile fragrance of the extra comfort toner. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, bring it back!!
Bring back the Extra Comfort Toning Lotion
Please bring back the extra comfort toning lotion! I am a longtime Clarins customer and am disappointed by this product. I was told that this toner is the replacement for the Extra Comfort Toning lotion. It is sub par. It does not leave my face feeling tingly like the previous one. It also does not clean my face as well as the previous toner. Disappointed.

How To Use
Soak a cotton pad with Soothing Toning Lotion and gently wipe over face after cleansing. No need to rinse.
