Miss the old formula of Alpine cleansing milk.

I had been using the herbal Alpine cleansing milk for normal to dry skin for about 30 years and am not that happy with the change to the velvet cleansing milk. It is akay but still prefer the older formula. Will use as it is still better than other brands I have tried.

Creamy yet light

Easy way to clean make-up off your eyes and face. I use this at night when I'm too tired to wash my face. Just apply and wipe off with a tissue. I think Ponds Cold Cream does just as good a job for less cost though

nice

This cleansing milk did remove my makeup nicely. It was not as great on my mascara but it didn't leave my face feeling dry at all. The smell was okay. I don't think I would purchase this product though.

Great gormula for winter

I love this cleanser creamy milk formula its perfect for my combination skin especially during winter. Its gentle, smooth and not soapy. It's like applying face cream. On the other hand I notice it didn't help with dissolving makeup. I would have eyeshadow, mascara and foundation residue on my face. Also it contains a mild fragrance which it can be irritating for sencitve skin.

a good cleanser

The cleanser was very gentle and I liked the nice smooth milky texture. I have oily skin however I have been having issues with my nose and cheeks being a bit flaky. I used this cleanser along with a soft bristle face brush, not only did it help but it left my face feeling soft and moisturized.

Silky Smooth

Silky or should I say velvety? This cleanser was gentle on my skin. It didn't dry out my face and left it feeling so smooth. The scent of it reminded me of body lotion, but I otherwise really liked this product.

Better than expected!!!!

I'm always pretty hesitant around cleaners claiming they can remove my makeup. We all know when there's a full beat involved that can be a lot to handle. But I was pleasantly proved wrong! It did a great job at removing eyeliner, glitter and several layers on makeup. The ONLY reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it didn't remove my mascara but kinda smeared it beneath my eye, I was able to remove it with a clean cloth pretty easily though! My skin was left clean, smooth, bright and SUPER SOFT!!!!

very soft

This product smells just like when I was a kid and went into my mothers room to try one of her products. As soon as you pour it on your hands, it feels very soft and moisturizing. It sinks into your skin just like milk and creates a thick layer for you to scrub your face. After you wash it off, you can still feel they soft effect that the milk left on your skin. It's very moisturizing and feels clean. I would recommend to anyone who wants to soften their skin.

Works well

As most Clarins products, this works well however, I preferred the green cleansing milk.

I assume this replaced it. I don't know why these companies change things that aren't broken, if that is the case.

The green one smelled lovely; I'm not wild about smell of this one but, again it does the job.

doesn't strip skin

I enjoy this cleanser because I didn't dry out my skin lot a lot of cleansers do. However, I didn't feel like my skin got super clean with it so I would probably use it In a double cleansing routine. This would probably work best for you if your skin is on the dry side.

Nice!

This is a nice product. A few things to know about this product are: there is not a scent, it will not remove all makeup - you will need to use a makeup remover first, and it is not too hydrating. I have very oily skin and like to use this in the morning before putting on my makeup. I'm not a huge fan of using it at night because I like a face wash that I know can get off my makeup from the day. Overall I do like this product and would recommend!

Skin Softening

Clarins Velvet Cleansing Milk is so hydrating and makes my skin incredibly soft. I gave this 4 stars instead of five because I have do what my face with another cleaners after using this. I love the way it makes my skin feel but the 'soften' does seem to wash off like I'd like. I feel like I still have soap on my face. So after using this face wash I will do a second wash with another face cleaner. My skin still feels soft but not like I still have soap on my face. It's not a huge issue but another step I don't always have time for. Overall it's a great option for making your skin amazingly soft.

OK cleanser

While this cleanser seemed to remove my make-up nicely and the scent is nice and mild. I felt like it didn't rinse away very well and left my skin feeling kind of oily. This is my first time using a product like this so maybe it's something I just need to get used to but I prefer to feel like the product completely rinses off my skin.

Unique product

I was hesitant once I opened this, as it felt more like a thin lotion than a cleanser. No foaming or bubbles, and once I used it, I was worried my skin would be oily afterward. It wasn't! my skin felt moisturized like I'd used a lotion, but it was clean, and I felt no residue. I'm not sure it's something I would buy in the future, but it's a unique product that surprised me in its effectiveness.

So soft!

Right off the bat I could feel the softness this product gave my skin. The scent is beautiful and light. I didn't love how it removed my makeup, but I usually don't love makeup removing creams and opt for wipes. I would use this when double cleansing for added moisture.

Thick & creamy cleansing milk

This product claims to remove impurities, makeup & pollution while leaving the skin hydrated. I found this to be largely true on my dry & sensitive skin. It left my skin feeling just a bit tight, but that is normal with my skin & it fared much better than the average face cleanser. It does have a generic skincare fragrance but since it washes away, I don't find it bothersome.

Alright

This cleanser felt more like a lotion to me because it would absorb to your face very quickly and when you try to rinse it out it takes a while. It did leave my face soft though! Interesting...

Honestly, not my favorite. I felt like it didn't do much to actually clean my skin and I had to wash my face before. I guess I was expecting it to lather, which it didn't. I still love the smell of it though!

Feeling moisturized

I washed my face with this and my face feels smooth like a babys bottom, I feel like I could use this once in a while when my face feels dry and needs a bit of a pick me up without adding extra lotions and such.

Clarins Cleanser

The cleanser is definitely something I love to use for the morning time even through mid-day cleansing. It has a nice fresh scent that's not over powering at all, it's super lightweight in fragrance which I love! The creaminess of the product really feels amazing on my skin & after rinsing my skin it feels & appears to be softer, clean and moisturized. I would recommend you to try out this product even sampling it so you can see if you'll love it as much as I do!
