Make Calyx your "go to" outdoors fragrance!

I have been wearing Calyx for over 20 years! Prescriptives originally sold Calyx and now it is owned by Clinique. It is a beautiful light scent! It smells clean and fresh and lasts! And, the greatest part of the fragrance is it is a green scent. Mosquitoes hate green scents! Perfect for any outdoor activities or events! I wore Calyx every day that I played tennis matches outdoors and now it is my "go to" golfing fragrance! Calyx is also perfect to wear to the beach or to the lake! Highly recommend this beautiful scent!

Unaffordable

Very disappointed you changed the recipe, took away it's staying power & raised the price by at least $20.00. I still like the scent but not as good a perfume as it was when prescriptives made it. Also no lotion, or shower gel which all worked well all together. ☹️

My signature smell

I've been wearing Calyx since 1990 in my early 20's. I just can't imagine wearing anything else. It has become my signature scent. It's fresh, clean, and unbelievably delicious! Please do not ever discontinue this classic! I get this at least 2-3x per year. A forever customer.

A "peachy" favorite since the 1980s!

I remember the exact moment I first smelled this fragrance. It was in the late 1980s, and a client of my sister-in-law's gave her a sample-vial from Prescriptives (it was part of their line back then). My first impression was of peaches-- like peach schnapps, but not overly sweet. It was several years before I was able to afford a full-size bottle of my own, but I'm glad Clinique has kept the fragrance alive because it is truly unique.

My signature fragrance in the warmer months

I have been using Calyx for decades. So glad Clinique picked it up when Prescriptives was no more. Even my adult daughter loves it. It's like no other scent - fresh, kinda citrus and sweet but not overpowering nor too "green" smelling. UNIQUE

Different

Yes, I'm one of those people lamenting the loss of the magnificent Prescriptives version. It used to be so juicy and had a guava note in it that made my mouth water. That note is gone. I wasn't terribly surprised that it would be different, so instead of mourning a lost love, I just think of this as a new citrus scent that has the same name. it's still very nice and refreshing in the summer, and I do like it - but I loved the original.

Love It!

I am allergic to most perfumes (skin flames up/wet lungs/major headaches). Not only does Calyx not bother me I love the scent and how it changes over the course of the day: citrus at the start and sweet at the finish. Please make it in a larger bottle again.

I have used this fragrance for years..

When Prescriptives made this scent I NEVER had to reapply (actually couldn't) Clinique has not only altered the scent but it no longer has the staying power it used to have. Price went up quality went down. I still use it but I am actively searching for another scent..

I love it! blast from the past

I love this. I bought it based on the reviews which were so positive. it's very green and woody and fresh. I definitely prefer it over floral scents.

Also, seeing as how it came out in the 80's it turns out it sparked some pleasant memories. I was born in the 80's and it reminds me of my childhood and people I knew that wore it.

not the same formulation

Estee Lauder won't admit to changing the formula. It doesn't smell the same, and that is a shame. I wore it every summer from the time it came out until Lauder bought out Prescriptives. WHY can't they go back to the original formula?!
