Formula Has Changed

The formula has changed a little since I last bought it in the shade Super Strawberry a few years ago. It used to be a relatively sheer & light moisturizing gloss in solid form. Now it goes on with a little more saturated color & seems more like a very moisturizing, slightly shiny lipstick.

I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 because it still feels really good on & the shade is quite cool-toned, however the formula change has made it difficult for me to just pull it out and apply without a mirror in situations where lipstick would be too much.

Perfection

Got the shade Richer Raisin and I love it. The formula is really nice and hydrating, and it's comfortable. The color is a perfect sheer browny-red, which gives the perfect your lips but better look for my skin tone (medium-light olive) with a little bit of natural looking shine. So flattering. It's really easy to apply, too. You can just swipe it on like a lip balm without a mirror. I was a devotee of Clinique Black Honey already but honestly I like this better. Also, I have pretty sensitive skin and Clinique products never give me any trouble, for what that's worth. Highly recommend.

Been using these for years

This balm is honestly my ride or die lip product. It's very moisturizing, and has that perfect flush of color for when you want something on the lip but not a full blown pigmented lipstick.

It transfers like all lip products because it is not formulated to be tranafer proof so .. realistic expectations! I probably reapply this a few times a day especially after I eat a big juicy burger but hey that. Does. Not. Bother. Me.

You've got your pinks, your nudes, your purples. I mean this line pretty much has all the colors you would need ! I buy this over and over again. It lasts me easily several months.

Pretty, Pink and Moisturized

I have extremely dry lips so I was curious if this would actually live up to the moisturizing title. I'm happy to report that it did! It was very easy to apply a quick swipe and I had pretty, pink and moisturized lips. This would be PERFECT for a young girls first "lipstick" and for those wanting natural looking makeup - just enhancing their natural beauty. The only thing that would make it better would be staying power. It did wear off pretty quickly leaving a hint of the pink stain on the lips but not the full color application. I've heard the new intense sticks stay on longer so am going to try it next.

The best of the best

Excellent and undupeable, the clinique chubby stick in super strawberry is the lip product to beat. Everyone I've gifted it to has loved it and the color looks great on all skin tones (a lovely warm strawberry pink). Dare I say, it's even better the Almost Lipstick in Black Honey? The formula is creamy, buildable, and comfortable to wear. There is no irritating fragrance. The staying power is not strong, but it's easy to reapply on the go and the color payoff is excellent. The only drawback is the tube--when you get to the bottom, there will still be a little left that's impossible to get to without a scooper and that I loathe to waste. Even so, that's a frequent complaint with most lipsticks and lip products, so it's not a huge deal.

I've gone through dozens of tubes of the super strawberry and it really is just the best and so so flattering. There are several drugstore and mid-tier brand dupes for the formula and packaging, but they're just not the same. Give it a try and you won't look back.

This FABULOUS product (Chubby stick intense), is now my all time favorite lip stick. It's actually like using a lipliner & lipstick in one. I purchased Chubby stick intense in "Grandest grape", & "Broadest berry."

I'll be buying more! The color payoff is intense but slightly more sheer than a "Regular" lipstick. Very moisturizing too. The 1st time I wore this lipstick I got 3 compliments in 2 hours.

This lipstick is close to heaven!

Love this product; I now have five shades

I bought the color Mega Melon to add to my growing collection of chubby sticks. The color is a sheer, but pigmented, coral that is very wearable and perfect for spring and summer. In case anyone is interested, I also love Heaping Hazelnut (my everyday perfect nude shade that lives in my purse -and I have a backup of), Whole Lotta Honey, Fuller Fig and the raisin colored one (which looks dark in the tube, but is actually very sheer and beautiful).

These chubby sticks are moisturizing, provide a sheer wash of color, are very wearable, easy to reapply even without a mirror and come in a very beautiful range of shades. Plus, there is no fragrance, which I despise in lip products. I enjoy these so much, I may have to branch out and try one or two colors from the intense line:) Hope this is helpful. Oh, and I have brown hair, brown eyes and fair skin.

I WON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!!

We all know that your look is never complete unless you have a little color on your lips. Chubby Sticks will give you the polish you need without ever having to worry about having it on your teeth! They slide on easily, give you that needed pop of color and they are super moisturizing! If I put on typical lipstick, even the ones that claim to be moisturizing, I will feel it the next day --- that never happens with a Chubby Stick. I've worn them since Clinique came out with them and they have very sheer ones, with just a hint of color, and more intense ones that are basically lipstick without the dry lips effect. I don't ever want to be without Curvy Caramel Chubby Stick Intense!

Great product! Just not enough of it..

I love this stuff. However you do have to use it for a little while before it really becomes moisturizing; it's like the top layer is waxy to prevent melting in transport to the stores or something once you've warn the top layer off you get its true potential. Super moisturizing and add color enough to make a difference without being a lipstick or being cakey. I have really dry lips so even nonmatte lipsticks are just too dry for me. This is perfect. Only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is it's almost $20 for 0.1oz which is ridiculous.

Broadest berry

I was in store today eyeing a viva glam by Mac- it's a darker almost burgundy. However because I didn't scrub my lips when I put it on it clung to the dry parts - no bueno. Then I tried this BBerry color. Smooth, not matte not shiny just a nice pop of color that is not quite red but not berry either. It's like a cranberry color on after it set in. Lips still moisturized hrs later - color faded nicely to a stain. Def recommendation a liner as it does move . Think im going to but chunkiest Chilli - nice change from drying mattes!!!
