I started using this on my clients with hair that is extremely hard to detangle…it worked very quickly and no snapping or scalp pain…the teeth is designed in such a way to navigate curly or coily hair but I have also used it on thick long hair types…As a stylist….I know a great comb when I use it with amazing results!!

I bought everything in the curl collective Wavy collection… I've been struggling to embrace my high porosity natural 2C waves for the past 6 months; I need all the help I can get and was thrilled to discover that Conair came out with a line just for wavies! My hair is highlighted, damaged by bleach and from previous use of heat tools to straighten it out, it tangles horribly in the under-sections and I have to spend a lot of time working on detangling my hair. I recently read about dry-detangling with my fingers, it works well but it's so laborious and time-consuming. This comb is so gentle that I get the same feeling as if I'm finger-detangling, however it's way more efficient and I can finish my detangle in half the time. I don't understand why the wavy teeth, but it WORKS without snagging at my hair! The plastic is pretty hard, I prefer combs with a softer plastic but I think it's the BPAs in plastic that used to give it that softer quality, that kind of plastic is pretty hard to find these days. The comb itself is extremely light and I love the matte finish. Seriously this is a fantastic comb, if you have wavy hair you're going to love having a comb that easily detangles your hair without pulling at the knots. Just get it already.
