DHC Olive Virgin Oil Essential Cream

I can feel my skin drinking.

This has to be the best moisturizer I've ever used. The first time I used this was from a sample I received and even though it does not have a matte finish, I could not believe the impact after a single use. My skin was so soft, the cream absorbs into the skin and it literally feels like your skin is drinking up the moisture. I have given samples to friends and they completely converted to using this moisturizer as well. I have seen improvements in their skin, too!

If you can only have one moisturizer, get this!

This is my favorite all purpose moisturizer. I use it any time of day or night, but usually during the day in dry winter weather. I prefer Extra Nighttime Moisture for bedtime, but if I happen to be out of it, I just use a generous portion of this product, and it works well.

Holy grail!

The Extra Nightime Moisture was my holy grail for a long time, but this has taken its place! Seriously so good! I use tretinoin, which dries out my face. The Olive Virgin Oil cream has been a total gamechanger. I love it so much!

A daily must for me

My skin loves this light, velvety cream that provides my face with moisture that lasts. I use it also under my eyes where I have deeper lines and it smooths them. I wear make up very sparingly, but when I do, this cream is perfect after it sets for about 20 min to allow foundation to spread evenly.

My skin hates this :(

This seems like a great cream, but my skin hates this. It made it dull and splotchy looking and so dry. I got Deja vu from that time I tried to use the Cerave moisturizer that everyone is always raving about. Curious, I looked it up and they do share a lot of similar ingredients, so I think the issue is that my skin and this moisturizer just don't get along, rather than it being a bad product.

I guess I have an expensive foot cream now. I would suggest trying the travel size first, like I wish I had.

Used before

The first time I tried this cream was at a hotel in Japan. I really like it for daily use. Having dry skin, it pairs well. I think for my skin is not enough though out the day. I try to use a serum to help out or combine with the olive oil serum. I think after finishing this cream, I will upgrade to the collagen one. Still very good for normal/combo skin. I just need a little more at my age.
