Good Basic Oil Cleanser

This was the first oil cleanser I tried when I switched to the double cleanse method. While I now use another product in my own routine, I still suggest this one as a starter for others. It's got a simple ingredient list, no added fragrance or dyes, and works great at removing makeup, SPF, and those little oil plugs that could turn into bad spots later.

My downsides are that it can be a bit messy to use (because it's truly an oil consistency) and I have to use an extra pump or two when my skin is extra dry because it just wants to drink this stuff up.

A solid like!

This takes makeup off FAST. I was in a hurry the other day and needed to remove makeup without water, and this did the trick! My face felt soft and non-irritated, which is wonderful since I'm dealing with an eczema flare-up. Yes you can use coconut oil for the same thing but this product doesn't leave me feeling greasy like straight coconut oil does, nor does it have a lingering scent. It'll take off waterproof mascara as well. I bought the travel size just for a trial and I think I might be sold on the bigger size once this bottle runs out!

I like to use this to remove my eye makeup or mascara. As for face makeup, it doesn't really remove face makeup.I only use one pump to remove all of my makeup. I always use a cotton ball and micellar water after I use this to remove my makeup, and there is always a little bit of makeup left over unlike my Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Oil (my favorite). I only got this during the 21 days of beauty. I would buy it again, but only if it's half off. It's better than drugstore cleansing oil, but not better than Clinique's Cleansing Oil or Clinique's Cleansing Balm. Clinique's oil and balm literally leaves no trace of makeup. Also, only use this on a dry face. It won't work if you have any water on your face or hands.

I am new to oil cleansing, I decided to try this product because of the good reviews on Instagram. I have only been using this oil and the olive soap for 5 days and it is incredible. I noticed a visible change in my pores on my cheeks! They are tighter and look smaller, and my blackheads on my nose are almost gone. I was a little nervous before using this oil because I have oily and acne prone skin but I am soo glad I tried it. I clean my face with the oil, gently wipe it off with a microfiber towel for face and then wash my face with the olive soap and follow up with a moisturizer.
