New Soft Matte Lipstick Dior

I'm not a huge fan for matte lipstick since I always feel my lip being too dry. I had wished some brand can solve this problem of matte lipstick and now Dior did it with their new formula of matte lipstick. I received Rouge Dior Forever Lipstick (color: 100 Forever Nude Look) for free to exchange my honest review. I tried to use and love this lipstick with light makeup whole day when working and hanging out with my friends. This new formula lipstick (transfer-proof, full-coverage and intensely nourishing) is amazing. I definitely buy it again with different colors.

Waste of money for me

I purchased it online about 2 weeks ago and was very excited to try this product. The color is stunning. My issue with it is that the product is very chalky when it dries. It shows all the lines on my lips and it looks dreadful when I smile. I've tried to moisturize my lips before applying, tried to apply a small and large amounts, tried to blotch it after applying, tried to apply with a brush, etc. No matter what I do the results is always the dried up, chalky residual. I love Dior products but this one was a waste of my money. Horrible product. I wish that I could exchange for something else.

Really stays on for hours!

I have been extremely pleased with this long lasting lipstick. So many of the long lasting lip products feel dry and may even appear to flake after wearing for some time. This one however lasts perfectly without the dry crusty feeling! It is important to condition lips before applying but, it last for hours and I can even eat and drink without it coming off. My sales associate recommended using the lip oil after applying the lipstick if it felt dry but, I prefer not to. The lip oil makes the lipstick more like regular lipstick that doesn't stay on as long and it will come off on a glass. I think it is perfect with just a lip liner!!

Great matte lipstick

I have this in the nude color (I believe it's 001). The color is a beautiful nude pink but leans much more pink than a true nude so I think it will look good on everyone. Mattes tend to be very drying. Since they're long lasting, it's just the nature of the beast so this lipstick is somewhat dying though it's not nearly as drying as most matte lipsticks out there. It definitely lasts though. You just can't put it on lips that have balm on them (you have to wipe it off first) or mix it with any other lipsticks because it breaks down on your lips and looks really weird and gets sticky. It has a light soapy scent which i don't mind.

Dior Rouge Dior Forever Lipstick

I received this product free from influenster and brands in exchange for my honest review.

Overall this lipstick is amazing. It's comfortable to apply and wear, doesn't bleed, and doesn't transfer. It feels close to wearing nothing and the shockingly transfer proof wear is wonderful. It's kissproof and can hold up through meals with careful eating. If you want something more moisturizing a gloss or balm might be better, but I would definitely recommend this lipstick as a comfortable transfer proof long lasting lipstick

Love!!!

I'm a HUGE fan of the Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Transfer-Proof Lipstick. I have it in every shade, because it's just that good. Imagine my excitement when I heard that they were releasing the bullet version. This bullet version is simply magical! I received the shade 999-Forever Dior, their signature coral red shade. I'm so happy that I received this shade in particular, because Forever Dior is my favorite red shade of all time. This lipstick does everything it claims to do. It's long-wearing, hydrating, and very pigmented. It has a beautiful matte finish, and it feels weightless on the lips. It applies smoothly and effortlessly. I put it to the test with eating and drinking, and it does hold up to its claim of being transfer-proof. Overall, this lipstick is a winner, and I'm so grateful to Influenster and Dior for sending it to me to try it out.

Pretty.

I wanted to test this lipstick at home before I wore it out because I don't often wear matte lipstick. Well I was pleasantly surprised at this Dior Forever Lipstick. It lasted much longer than I thought it would for one thing. I wore it around the house for a good size hours until I noticed that it was starting to feather and fade a bit. So that was quite impressive to me. The color payout was great! Very pigmented. Also it wasn't terribly drying like I find most matte lipsticks to be. So overall I would totally recommend it!

Such a great staple lipstick

I wouldn't say it's 100% transfer-proof. If you get your lips wet with any oil based ingredient it will just affect the lipstick for the rest of it's wear. It also does not set if you have lip balm on. But as a regular everyday lipstick, it goes on so smoothly and feels super comfortable. The colour is really nice and is definitely an MLBB for me. I've been using it interchangeably with my other go to lipsticks and this one will definitely be a favorite and I would definitely buy more. The casing is also super nice being matte black, it looks and feels luxurious.

Forever Nude Look 100

This lipstick formula is surprising. I have never used a completely matte lipstick that is so CREAMY!!! It glides on so smoothly and feels so luxurious. It doesn't set right away so you have a minute to blend it. Once it sets, it does not budge…which is good and bad. A con for me is the color. This is a nude of course, so without a liner, the color kind of looks a little ashy. The only drawback that keeps me from using more frequently is the way my lips feel after 6+ hours. This is extremely matte once set, and it sucks a lot of the moisture out of my lips, leaving them a bit cracked after removal. I have to use a lip oil or very hydrating gloss to revive my lips toward the end of the day. I still love this lip in spite of that, and am considering a deeper nude for a more natural look.

I < 3 red, but…

As a person who grew up with financial hardships and is used to avoiding splurges I was so excited to try Dior anything, let alone a red lipstick, but it was just fine. I feel like I've used better Colourpop lipsticks. I tried it with many different primers many different ways and it always came off after a few hours. It also accentuates dryness, which isn't rare for a vibrant lipstick so cannot hate on that I guess. It's also more orange than suits me. I'm sure it works for many, just wasn't the best for me.

Just not a fan of Dior!

I really wanted to like this but sadly this lipstick formula would never be my first, nor last choice. I've used various Dior makeup products in the past and don't see the hype. I am an avid makeup user and typically know what to look for in makeup based on which items have a cult following and Dior is one of those brands that just doesn't live up to the name. I have doubts that their line is actually used on their models backstage. I am also a lipstick fanatic and it is the most important part of makeup to me. I don't look at price so much as quality so when you weigh the cost factors in Dior makeup it's a little confusing. So I think the reason for the cult following with Dior products given my experience is solely due to the brand name. I never reach for red lipstick on my own volition in general but the color was actually quite nice on my skin tone so that was a plus. The formula is a better than Dior liquid lipsticks which were a massive disappointment, but really nothing to write home about. This lipstick is very standard in terms of look and finish. I feel personally as though you could get this exact quality of lipstick from any drug store brand. Therefor I would not recommend this product or ever purchase Dior products on my own in the future. I think you would have much better luck finding a more long lasting, quality finish in this classic/basic red color and many many others that would be a better fit, from other less expensive brands at Sephora and Ulta.

It's okay

After using this lipstick for a few months, I have mixed thoughts. The shade worked beautifully on me and there's no denying that it is very transfer proof. This lipstick doesn't budge until I eat or drink. The downside is that it feels sticky and super drying on the lips. It really emphasized fine lines on my lips and made them look worse than they do bare. If you're looking for a long wear lipstick, this might be a good option. It just wasn't a total hit for me and definitely not worth the price.

Get prepared for LOTS of compliments!

First off the color pay off and color of this lipstick is a showstopper- so be prepared to be stopped and complimented. The texture is very matte and I would recommend NOT rubbing your lips together when first applying- as I noticed it separated when I did that and so I kept layering it. I quickly realized when I did not rub my lips together after application, it did not separate.

Overall a beautiful matte lipstick. I would probably recommend trying with a primer- I'm sure that would help with the application and initial separation.

Love this highly pigmented classic

I have really dry lips and skin so I layer on moisture before applying any products to my skin and my lips need the same. On its own this didn't dry out my lips. Highly pigmented, nice nude color, a truly perfect "classic lipstick". If I wear it bare as with any other lipstick, you see every dry spot on my lip. But after using a lip scrub, letting some moisture soak up and using a really good balm prior to applying- it looks great! For being worn over a balm it stays way longer than I anticipated. I love using this as a base under a nice gloss. It looked great when I went for new work headshots last week and wore it under my Fenty cherry bomb gloss. Would definitely buy this lipstick every time I need a classic lipstick but would probably go for other shades besides nude to liven up my look! 100% recommend this and so happy to try!

Surprisingly Good As A Stain

Let me start out by saying that I LOVE this lipstick! The formula, the color, the versatility... Mind you, this isn't a true red or blue red like I typically wear, but it still works with my complexion (I usually can't wear reds that don't fit the above description - particularly if they have any hint of orange in them). You will likely have to reapply, but I've found that to be the case with almost any bold red, particularly when eating foods with any oil in them. However, it fades well and isn't drying like so many long-wear lipsticks. As a bonus, I use it as a lip stain on the days I want a more low-key look rather than a bold lip.

I'm not sure I'd call it transfer-proof and you're not likely to get 16 hours out of it (probably not more than a few without having to reapply), but I'd still recommend giving it a try!

Bold lipstick

I was excited to receive a dior lipstick and the color was very bold shade of red. It really took me out of my comfort zone since I personally tend to reach for a light pink to mauve lipstick to lipgloss or a satin finish. The shade is a pretty shade of red but I don't think this is a color that works for me but maybe for others though I'm glad I got the opportunity to try. The formula was very pigmented and my lips felt hydrated with a matte finish but some of the lipstick did rub off. It's a great lipstick but the price is a bit expensive

Fantastic lipstick

I love this lipstick! From the highly pigmented color, to how long it lasted, and it stayed matte without drying out my lips. I didn't experience any transfer of color whatsoever the entire day. One application lasted long past 8 hours without having to touch up. The formula for this lipstick is spot on! It's worth every penny. The only reason it received four stars is because I felt that the color of the lipstick was too orange for my preference. But I love the formula so much I've already purchased in two other colors. Ladies try this lipstick you won't regret it!

Comfortable Lipstick

I normally strictly wear liquid lipsticks & was surprised to find that I really liked this Rouge Dior Forever Lipstick in color 999 Forever Dior that was gifted to me by Influenster in exchange for my honest review for a couple of reasons. It was quite easy to apply for a regular lipstick & it's also a coral red color that was actually pretty in my opinion, although I normally steer clear of corals as a rule. I did notice a bit of lipstick that transferred to my cup & my straw during the day, but there was definitely still plenty of color on my lips & they didn't look or feel dry in the slightest.

Beautiful pink nude color

Received this complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This is a beautiful nude color. After exfoliating and moisturizing my lips, I was happy with how it looked. I took a few swipes to get a nice even coat. It is matte but not drying at all which I loved since my lips tend to get dry easily. I did find myself reapplying a couple times throughout the day but it held up pretty well. The tube looks amazing but I did notice the actual lipstick was smaller in diameter that some other lipsticks but this did not take away from the application of the lipstick.
