Nostalgic

I used to looove light blue. I moved on over the years to other perfumes. But in the store today i randomly tried this summer vibes version and immediately had to buy it. It reminds me of the original quite a lot but a fresh take. I cant stop smelling myself and my husband looooved it

Beautiful bottle but….

I love the bottle, it's very pretty, so is the GWP; however, it's only a very subtle difference from the original Light Blue. It does not last as long, at all!! I can put on the OG at 6 am and at 8 pm someone will still compliment the fragrance. I've had this on for two hours and it's gone. Sadly I will probably keep for the bottle (my room decor is same palette), but I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for something different.

Nice spin on original but doesn't last.

I love the original. I was so excited for this spin. I wore this to work (Administrative in a private family medicine practice) Its hard to find an appropriate perfume witn patients.

I received compliments when I first got there & didnt even smell it after an hour. This is too expensive to have to reapply numerous times per day.

Im returning this because of it.

Fresh Scent

D&G Light Blue has been my signature scent for a minute now, but I tried this one just for funsies. I love the light, fresh scent! It is more citrus-y than the original light blue fragrance. I do have to re-apply it a couple of times though. The bottle has some weight to it and looks so pretty! It's giving vacation in Mykonos!

Time to repurchase!

This smells so clean and so light! I love this fragrance. Before finding this, my daily scent was Afternoon Swim by Louis Vuitton, which is significantly more expensive. This smells just like it (in my opinion). Will be repurchasing!!! Bonus that the bottle is so beautiful

Flanker very similar to oroginal

D & G didn't stray too far from the original Light Blue frag for this flanker. If you've got that one, you definitely don't need this - it's barely any different. Maybe just a tad sweeter. It lasts just as well as the original, but I admit I purchased because the bottle is beautiful. This smells just like a lemon bar & I will wear it frequently in the summer.

Disappointed

Disappointed that the fragrance doesn't last more than 1-2 hours.

Initially the fragrance is nice, but very soon after applying there is no trace left.

I've used Light Blue in the past and it lingered most of the day, disappointing that this new fragrance doesn't.

Better than the original!

I loved the original Light Blue edt years ago, but like many, had a problem smelling the ambroxan note. Still, I'd spray it and enjoy it for the 20-30 minutes I got before the top notes were gone and the notes everyone else around me loved but I couldn't smell took over. This flanker is different. Yes, it's citrusy. Yes, it's woody. It's still got that Light Blue lemony freshness over bamboo-cedar that made the original such a perfect summer scent. I don't detect the peach much - maybe it adds a slight sweetness in the first 10 minutes or so. But surprisingly - this one sticks around! It doesn't have that white rose floral aspect of the original but I honestly don't miss it here (though it is a lovely note). It's like a lighter version of the original that I can smell a lot better. It's an edt so yes, it's light. It's going on 2-3 hours since I sprayed and it's still going strong. I sprayed it in store a few days ago and it stayed with me well enough to prompt a return for purchase.

Note: The bottle is gorgeous but cheaply made! The first time I pulled the cap off the metal part came with it. I popped it back on and it seems to be staying now. Also, the cap feels cheaper and more flimsy than the original plastic. I suppose they don't make them like they used to in this economy. That said, it looks gorgeous on my bathroom vanity.

fresh and clean

This has a very fresh and clean smell which is perfect for summer! It is very strong so a couple sprays is enough. I will definitely purchase again for this summer. Sweating doesn't make it smell bad or anything.

Let me start off with, I am a lover of gourmand scents....

I am obsessed with this fragrance. It is light and fruity. It smells like a fresh shower after spending the morning at the beach. It is perfect for summer. The bottle is beautiful as well. It definitely looks good in a perfume collection. The only thing I have a complaint about is that I don't think it is strong enough for my liking. I still am able to smell it on myself though after some hours. For that, I give it four stars 🌟. Otherwise it'd be 5!
