Nice fragrance, almost summerish

It's a wood scent with notes of lemon. when you spray it first, the fragrance has spicy notes which slowly settle down, making it a little sharp or intense for my liking. Almost passed the summer vibe but doesn't smell out of the world for me.

people would still notice it when you wear it in party but lacked a bit of oomph factor for me.

Embrace the Essence of Summer of Light Blue

An Italian masterpiece that captures the warmth, vibrancy, and sheer beauty of this enchanting season. Allow myself to be transported to sun-drenched beaches, blooming gardens, and carefree summer adventures. As the fragrance settles, delicate floral accords bloom, harmoniously blending notes of jasmine and lily of the valley, evoking images of vibrant gardens in full bloom. Great product but could be better!

Summer Vibes is the perfect name

D&G's Summer Vibes is wonderfully light, making it an ideal fragrance for warm summer days. It delicately merges fresh, citrus notes with subtler earthy undertones, ensuring it's never overpowering. It captures the essence of summer vibes in a bottle.

Similar smell to the previous versions

I felt the fragrance was smelling the same as the previously launched versions but this packaging was better. I only received a testing size and hence cannot say much about how much of a staple it can be. Impressive though. Would recommend.

A Captivating Blend of Zesty Lemon and Warm Amberw

Having recently experienced the enticing fragrance of Dolce & Gabbana light blue Summer Vibes, I was immediately drawn to its delightful combination of invigorating Fresh clean, lemon, and comforting Amberwood. The initial burst of zesty lemon awakens the senses, infusing an uplifting and refreshing ambiance. As the fragrance settles, the warm and sophisticated notes of Amberwood emerge, adding depth and a touch of allure. This harmonious fusion of bright citrus and earthy Amberwood creates a captivating and well-balanced scent. The longevity of Dolce & Gabbana light blue Summer Vibes is impressive, as it continues to enchant throughout the day. Whether for casual outings or formal occasions, this cologne is an ideal choice for those who seek a fragrance that effortlessly blends the freshness of lemon with the grounding warmth of Amberwood. Make Dolce & Gabbana light blue Summer Vibes an essential addition to your summer collection and immerse yourself in its unique and captivating aroma.

I can see it's appeal, but not for me.

Objectively, i can understand how someone can enjoy this scent. It's bright and summery with an also sultry citrus base.

The problem is that it moves into a salty, earthy aroma that honestly smells like b.o to me.

It honestly made me gag a little. I can honestly see this being amazing on the right person, but i just can't wear this for myself.

A Deluge of Dolce & Gabbana Delight: The Olfactory

Before I begin this review, I must confess that I am not a cologne expert, but I do consider myself an expert on summer vibes. I've been involved in countless beach volleyball games, barbecued more burgers than a fast-food joint, and I've got a playlist of summer tunes that would make even the most sunburnt surfer dude weep with joy. So, when I heard that Dolce & Gabbana had bottled up the spirit of summer itself, I was intrigued.

When you first open Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Summer Vibes, the aroma hits you like a rogue wave on a calm day. Suddenly, you're not in your dimly lit bathroom anymore, but at a beach party with the cast of Baywatch. The initial citrus notes are so potent, I'm fairly sure I saw a lime peel materialize from thin air. The scent is so convincingly seaside that I found myself instinctively reaching for sunscreen and a poorly made margarita.

After the initial tsunami of zesty zest subsides, the middle notes begin to shine through, like the sun peeking from behind a cloud. There's a hint of rosemary that, for reasons unknown to me, made me want to start a herb garden. The base notes of musk and woods leave you with an aroma reminiscent of a well-dressed lumberjack on a July afternoon.

However, I must address the elephant in the room, or rather, the seagull in the sky. This cologne is called "Summer Vibes," but where's the smell of sunscreen, chlorine, and overcooked hot dogs? Where's the olfactory representation of getting sand in places you didn't know you had? Where's the essence of aunt Susan's potato salad that's been sitting out in the sun a tad too long?

Perhaps my summer expectations were too high, or perhaps Dolce & Gabbana simply forgot to include the scent of melting ice cream and regret from not reapplying sunblock. Either way, I'm docking one star for their oversight.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a cologne that will make you smell like a sentient cocktail lounging on a Mediterranean beach, Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Summer Vibes is the scent for you. However, if you, like me, consider the essence of summer to include the less glamorous smells, you might feel a bit shortchanged.

It's a great cologne, but remember, just as summer isn't complete without a few sunburns and mosquito bites, a truly immersive summer scent should include a few less glamorous notes. But hey, at least with this cologne, you won't have to worry about sand in your shorts

Passed the test on hubby and teen son

As always, cologne makes it into our house usually for my husband but then our teen son takes it (if it passes his smell test). Which in both instances, the two were going back and forth with this fragrance.

The scent was not overpowering but held up all day with two very physical and outdoorsy men.

It was light and pleasant. No need to add on during the day. Musky with a hint of citrus is how they described it. Beachy vibes that can be worn all year round.

Doesn't separate itself

This scent wasn't a bad smelling by any means, but I felt like it was very underwhelming. When you're a high end cologne company, I want to KNOW the scent I'm putting on the instant I smell it. This one just smells like a cheaper brand I can get anywhere. It doesn't separate itself as a high class cologne, which for the price point, it absolutely should. Still a good scent, just underwhelming
