I just tried a sample of this hair wash and I'm impressed, my hair is so soft and clean! I think it's great they cut out the liquid, it saves on plastic waste and would be great to travel with, plus it's shampoo AND conditioner, a deal in my opinion.
Pleasantly Surprised
I got this to take camping as I need something that doesn't take up too much room and doesn't have a strong smell. I was nervous about a 2-in-1 product as they don't usually do a good job at both things, but this stuff actually cleaned my scalp so well, and made it feel soft and conditioned without weighing it down. On par with the salon brands I use every day, super impressed!
Pleasantly surprised
OK, I would like to address couple of the earlier negative comments. First of all this product has a very light smell. If you've ever used Dove so it is very similar smelling to that. Secondly it looks like a very small container, but it actually lasts a long time. I've had mine for about six months and it's still half full. Like the one review said a little bit goes a long way once you add the water to it. Lastly this has been a godsend for me in that I don't like to wash my hair more than twice a week any longer so this allows me to freshen my hair up in between washings. Just give it a try, it really is an under valued great product! However, I do miss the foaming cleansing conditioner they used to carry that has now just been discontinued. I really wish they would bring them back.
Innovative!
This is honestly the coolest product ever, that ACTUALLY WORKS! There's nothing more annoying than trying out a new innovative product that sucks — The Drybar 2-in-1 Hair Wash is actually really perfect! I have a grown out pixie cut and my hair is still pretty short, so I don't know how efficient this would be for someone with longer, thicker hair. I find myself using a quarter sized amount, and it lathers up great! My hair feels clean afterwards, which is something I was surprised about, being that it's a 2-in-1. This is ideal for traveling and camping. I need to be completely minimal when I travel anywhere, so multi-use products like this are a MUST for me. I would like to see this product in a larger size — I wouldn't even mind paying more for it because it works!

How To Use
Dispense a generous amount into palm of hand. Add water and emulsify into a paste. Work into hair and lather from roots to ends. Rinse well. Repeat if needed.
