Eyeko Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner 1-star Reviews
Slides off on oily skin
I put it on in the morning, get through my serving shift and the eyeliner is on the bottom of my corner lids. The inner corners/bottom of my lids are grey. Do not recommend if you have combination to oily skin!
I wouldn't buy this product ever
I tried this product on and right away it didn't make a nice line because the ink runs. It runs on your eyelid. That was my only issue but that's enough for me to not use it ever again. Has lots of potential but it's messy.
Smudges so easily!
I cannot believe this product has gotten so many good reviews and actually says "smudgeproof" on the packaging! It seems like it never dries because it smudged right after I applied on one side, and then the other side smudged hour later! I've used Mac, Tarte, and even drugstore brands that are far superior to this product in terms of being smudgeproof. I hated this and do not recommend at all!
Awful
I'm an upper-eyelid-only-with-primer kind of girl, and have tried a number of liquid liners. Wearing this liner, I looked like a raccoon by the end of the day. Smeared above, smeared below. Never again.
If someone gave this to me for free I would decline
I put this on and the first eye went okay, the color is nice and black and the application process wasn't horrible. However, I went to do the second eye and absolutely nothing went right. The tip got clogged or something so the liner wouldn't come out. I tried everything to make it work, but it just would not. When I tried to go over the line it started to flake up like I was putting cream over powder. An absolute disaster. It started smudging almost immediately, but then when I went to go remove the disaster from my eyes it would NOT come off. It took multiple washing and I lost several eyelashes in the fight.
Get stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeline Instead
First off: I'm a diehard stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner gal, but I'm willing to try other options that I lauded by others and I can get cheaper (because let's be honest, we're all trying to save a buck on our makeup).
I bought this eyeliner for two reasons: It was on sale (50%!) and a YouTuber I watch recommended it as one of her favorite eyeliners (as a fellow monolid, I trusted ... and I was let down ... but no spoilers yet). For an eyeliner that costs almost as much as stila eyeliner when not on sale, I expected it to at least have a fighting chance. Not so. Within 2 hours of applying, when I looked in the mirror, it had smudged all over my inner and outer corners ... how embarrassing! This doesn't happen with the stila ... ever. Not to mention, the felt tip on it is super rigid and doesn't allow for as much flex to get the perfect flick. Maybe this would be better suited for someone that is new to the eyeliner game and doesn't have a steady hand, but I found it limiting in application. And the product didn't come out as nicely when applied. I had to reapply in some areas.
Overall, very disappointing experience, and now I have two Eyeko eyeliners I won't be using again. #thumbsdown
I got the worst comment ever when I wore this
My brother who never notices my make up commented...and I quote "Your eyes look like your cat died today." I went into the bathroom and I looked like alice cooper. My eyes don't water, I wasn't crying hysterically that day, and I don't rub my eyes much. I have never had so muhc travel in my life.
Worst liquid liner ever!
This is the worst eyeliner ever! I've tried it several times - with primer, without primer, with shadow, without shadow - each and every time it smudges all over my face after just an hour or two. I look like a panda by mid-day. This formula sucks and should never have been released.
So disappointed 😔
I got this item in an ipsy bag and absolutely fell in love. However, when I bought the full size, the nub dried so quickly. I have to push hard for the liner to come out. Then it gets all flaky. I don't understand. Maybe I got a bad batch. This makes me so sad. :,(
Not skinny, hard to get a smooth line
I bought this eyeliner based on all of the great reviews and wanted a "skinny" liner. It is difficult to get a skinny line (you have to use the very tip whereas I like to lay it sideways and swipe for wing) and it it does not give a smooth line. It also smudges almost immediately and I have to clean up under my eyes throughout the day. I have had much better luck with drugstore brand liners that are much easier to apply.
