Doesn't hold a curl!

This does not hold a curl!! I had my Babyliss from probably 5 years and it held a curl great. This one does not! No matter how hot I set it, or how long I wait at that temperature. Even with additional products in my hair before I curl it, it sucks!! Really disappointed!!

Do not buy it doesn't last!!

I purchased this curler only 6 months ago. At first it was great until it started to shut off on its own. I would turn it back on and mid curl 1 minute later it was off again. Eventually it stopped turning on. I expected it to last more than 6 months pretty disappointing

Don't buy hot tools

I had a different hot tools curling iron which I loved but stopped working around 2 years. I bought this one and it wouldn't even turn on I tried multiple outlets around my condo too. Not wasting my money on hot tools anymore!!

Replaced 30 year old Hot Tools

This replaced my VERY old hot tools curling iron that used to be my mom's. It works almost identically the same but with the upgraded heat adjustment and digital screen. The only thing I don't like is how the cord is a 90 degree angle and it's annoying to set down on the counter. Works great though and make awesome curls.

Great product fantastic warranty

I have the 11/2" gold hot tool curling iron. It works fantastic and is easy to use. Just be careful to not use to high of heat, it could damage your hair. I have used it many times and one day just stopped working. I looked it up and there is a 7 year warranty and called as recommended 800-487-8769. They were able to assist me with a replacement by answering a couple of questions that were on the curling iron. It is wonderful to have a company stand behind their product.

Best curling iron out there!

I've been using this Hot Tool for over 30 years!, I purchased this same one only this one now has automatic shut off!, as you can guess, I need that from time to time lol. Absolutely love the clasp and the large tip to hold when curling. Amazing!

Perfect curling iron!!

I have fine hair that's super stubborn about holding a curl. After countless hours researching tutorials for the right iron for me, I decided to take a chance on this one and oh my goodness! Perfect curls for me or at least I think so!😂 It also only took me about 15-20 ish minutes to achieve what I was looking for. Opposed to an entire day I spent trying with a different curling iron. Even for a beginner like myself. I was concerned about the price tag at first but I'll never regret this purchase!

Works Great!

I had previously been using hot rollers or a 1 1/4" curling iron on my fairly long hair but was wanting a different look. I read multiple expert reviews on the "best 1 1/2 inch curling iron" and the Hot Tools Professional 24K Gold was always included in the mix. This curling iron works great! It heats up quickly, is easy to use and the result is long lasting loose curls. I love the digital temperature display and the universal dual voltage is a big plus for me.

Great curling iron

It has been a long time since I've treated myself with a new curling iron. This thing heats up in about 10 seconds! And the curl! I have to relearn how to curl my hair with this because you don't need to have your hair on this long at all for long lasting curls! The curl lasts all day and all the next day without hairspray (my hair had always held a curl pretty good, but not like this!).

Glitches and turns off!

I'm so mad! I love this curling iron but the last two I've purchased start self turning off and glitching. I love this iron it does an amazing job for my thick and long hair, but keeps breaking. Will not buy this specific hot tool again.

Not worth it

I wanted to love this so much, but I ended up taking it back after a few days. My main issue is that, no matter how I use this, it always leaves a giant crease in my hair. Every. Single. Time. Besides that, the few times I was able to curl it without there being a crease, if you so much as breathe on the curl, it falls out and you have to start over. So, so frustrating. Like the other reviews said, it doesn't hold a curl and it's so hard to get through your hair. I would not recommend this unfortunately.

Hot!

I received a Hot Tools Professional 24K Gold 1-1/2" Digital Curling Iron from Tryit Sampling Community. I just cut my waist-length hair to my shoulders, and all of a sudden I had waves that went every witch way. This curling iron Handled it with no problems at all.

Luxurious curls

I love how this curling iron gives me luxurious curls. It works very well. I don't have to keep it on my hair for a long time and it did not burn my skin or my hair. It has an easy-to-use, classic design. I also love that it heats up quickly.

Amazing curler

My hair has gotten quite long and I've always wondered how people get those beautiful waves they have. This curling iron helped me figure that out! It's easy to use, comfortable in my hand, heats quickly, and holds its heat. It curled nice and quick, and gave some beautiful waves. I could do tighter curls, too, if I wanted. My hair felt soft and silky after using this, and didn't feel dry or damaged. Great curling iron!

Works perfectly!

I have straight thick hair and have been looking for the right rool to styled my hair for years. I have tried everything and nothing worked for me. Everything changed once I tried this Curling Iron: it is lightweight and super comfortable to handle. I have so much fun styling my hair now! My curls and waves are on a hole new beautifully level and they stay in place for several hours. I have received so many compliments!

Finally a curling iron that doesn't burn my hair!

It makes perfect soft curls and glides out of my hair, making it easy to turn the rod and make different styles.

It's digital and has an auto shut off, that alone is a win.

My daughter keeps stealing it so I'm ordering another one so she'll leave mine alone!

Great Curling iron

I like the Hot Tools Professional 24k Gold 1-1/2 digital curling iron because it heats hair all evenly through. It stays hot and heats up again when you continue curling the hair. Makes great big curls for volume or that all out curls.

Quick High Heat

We have been extremely pleased with our Hot Tools digital curling iron. The digital display clearly shows how hot your iron is. There's no more guess work if your iron is hot enough for your hair. And I've found that the temperature stays consistent throughout use. The knob easily adjusts the temperature up and down which is great because my daughter's hair is thick and requires higher heat than mine does. The large barrel creates gorgeous, loose, and smooth curls in her long hair. My hair is shorter, but I enjoy this iron because it quickly smooths out any frizz from my wavy hair. Lastly I appreciate the swivel cord because it allows freedom of movement with the extra long cord without anything getting bunched or tangled.

I love hot tools curlers and straighteners and this did not disappoint. It offers nice loose bouncy curls for those casual days. My hair reaches about my mid back and I love the wavy look this gives. Has a wide range of temperature settings and I found the heat distributed evenly across the whole barrel.
