Getting used to

The Professional 24K Gold 1-1/2" Digital Curling Iron takes some getting used to. I keep on hitting the lock/unlock button when using. I like the 2 hour shut-off, the digital temperature display and the swivel cord.

Elegant curling iron

This curling iron is probably most fancy looking item in my bathroom. I immediately feel very sophisticated using it, like a Bond girl. Lol.

I love that you can select your desired temperature but I wish the device would let you know once it reached that specific degree.

It is super easy to use but unfortunately I have to say it did not curl my hair. It only left a mark where I clipped the hair streak. That's about it. I left it in for almost 20 sec and used it on a freshly washed hair streak. But no success.

I would still recommend it because I'm sure it works for others and I love the way it brings sophistication and sparkle to the bathroom.

Waste of money

Worked for about 4 weeks and after that wouldn't heat up anymore. I replaced it and it did the same thing. I have had nothing but bad luck with this product line. 3 hair dryers that lasted 5 to 6 months and now this.

I have the 1 1/4 inch version of this curling iron, but i wanted larger curls so I got the 1 1/2 inch version, thinking it would be fundamentally the same. It's not. It has some great features (digital, auto shut-off), but the clamp is way too tight. I like to glide my hair through the clamp to get soft waves, but this thing grabs my hair so tightly that it doesn't budge unless I release the clamp. It also leaves a crimp mark wherever you close the clamp. I'm returning it.
