Wouldn't buy again!
I've had this for over a year and would not buy it again. My hair has never been this damaged before and the only thing that changed was using this straightener. Disappointed that my previous $30 was better than this one.

I have very thick hair I highlight it a lot and it's a lot I need alot of heat to get it super straight and pretty. Well I'm so happy with this purchase it does not snag it leaves my hair look very straight and shiny 10/10
pretty buuut…
I was indecisive on purchasing this, the material is suede/matte so it probably gets dirty and scratched easily. My hair is straight and fine so it straightened easily with 1-2 pases on low-medium heat. The only problem is i used it once before BARELY dropping it in the floor causing it not to turn on anymore. By barely i mean cuz i was unplugging it and it barely kissed the floor since i was able to catch it late by the wire. I tried different outlets around the house and nothing worked. it was done. Other than that, it was really pretty while it lasted lol. I don't know if i'd purchase it again tbh

I have super thick, curly, frizzy hair, but let me tell you this straightener wowed me! I was previously using another hot tool flat iron, until it broke. This one goes up to 455 degrees!!. I used mine with a heat protectant spray at 390 degrees and only needed one pass. I love it!!

I have been looking for a straight iron that I can hold without getting hot fingers and this is it! Plus, I can use it like a curling iron or straightener! The temperature setting let's me control how hot I want it! Soooo easy to use. Worth every penny! Definitely a must have in your collection!

Was not expecting anything from HT to blow me away like this flat iron did. I own a handful of pricey flat irons this is my new daily one. Idk how it's so amazing weird design but I've never had a flat iron that worked THIS AMAZING. Do yourself a favor BUY THIS NOW. Bombbbbbbbbbb
Works great but…
I have curly hair and this worked wonderfully! However, I probably only used it 5 or 6 times before the rubber coating started to melt off near one of the plates. I kept the temp 380 or lower, so I wasn't using it at its maximum setting or anything. I was shocked to see it start to "fall apart" after only owning it for 3 weeks. I'm sure the rubber melting off probably doesn't affect anything other than appearance, but something this expensive shouldn't have something go wrong so quickly!
Best Straightener I've Had!
I have thick curly hair and I've always had trouble with buying straightening tools at stores. Came across this one and fell in love with it! It heats up really fast and leaves my hair smooth! Worth buying :)
Best hair straightener I've ever had!!
This is seriously the best hair straightener I've ever owned! It gets rid of the frizz and stays straight. My hair is more wavy and super thick. This straightens my hair in one pass! I recommend this to anyone!

How Do The Plates Work?
Cut down the number of passes you need to get the sleek straight looks you're after! Easily adjust one side of plates to be hotter or cooler than the other side using the dual controller switch (plates are labeled for easy styling reference: R, L). The first side of plates warms hair, and the second follows straightening and sealing. No loss of heat transfer, no need for a bunch of passes. For example, if you've got more texture at the roots, you can set heat at a higher temp closer to the root and set a slightly lower temp closer to the more susceptible ends. Straighten and seal the look at the same time. Smooth like Black Gold.
