J.Cat Beauty Crystal Burst Liquid Lipstick

I received this dried out and flaky. I am so disappointed because I love the color and was excited to try it. I threw it away since I can't use it.

Received dried and flaky

I was so excited to try this liquid lipstick out. The product was all dried up. What a disappointment.

Horrendous smell

I got the Magic 8 Ball. The color went on super well, was long lasting. So long lasting it was difficult to remove. This lipstick smells exactly like box hair dye. It was strong enough that people around me could smell it. Very disappointed because I need a good dark blue lip color.

Dried out/one use

First off didnt get but 1 use out that lipstick...only took one application to wear then the bottle was emty;DRIED OUT...how do u send that to customers? shame on yall...second Didn't realize how small it was. Loved the color tho. The wear was comfortable. Hydrat lips before and it will be comfortable to wear all day

I have a medium skintone, so I had no issues with blotchyness. But one method I use is,

open the lip gloss and expose the applicator to the air for 20 seconds before applying it to the lips. it helped the gloss dry faster on the lips, making a thicker layer and no need to apply multiple layers.

it could be better

giving it a 3 because I got the magic 8 and it's horrible. it's so thin and patchy and I have to multiple layer just so it looks decent and even then. this color settles so weird on your lips and with this color smacking your lips together to bring out the glitter removes some of the product and leaves this weird patchy and glittery mess. I hate this color sucks because the concept is so cute. maybe if I try another color it will look flattering but this dark blue was a bust for me. :(

Velvet dress

I got velvet dress. On my light skin with pink undertones it looks too dark. Or maybe I'm afraid of dark lipsticks. I don't know. I like it. It's not the first I'll grab on the go. But if I'm wearing a shade on my clothes similar I would wear it. I think it is amazing on the lips. Like it goes on very well. The pay off is stunning.

drying, not super sparkly

I bought this in romance in paris and rose quartz. If your lips are exfoliated and moisturized before application then the dryness isn't so bad. Once it dries and you press your lips together, there is some sparkle but not a ton. They mostly look metallic instead of glittery. Romance in Paris was a nude with gold metallic sparkles and the rose quartz shade had slight red sparkles. I have medium skin tone so the red was my fav of the 2. I was hoping they'd be as glittery as the ciate but they are not. Oh and the containers are small, like trial size small.

Great color, terribly drying.

Ok so I loved the color & the sparkles were fun BUT I immediately regretted putting this on my lips. It's possibly the most drying formula I've ever used.

If you can deal with that, though... It's pretty cool. Personally I can't deal with it, it's going in the trash. It was cheap enough that I'm not mad about it, though!

To little amount of product.

The color of the lipstick is almost the same as shown at the web site but the container was too little. And when I opened it it felt like there is not much left at the bottle. But, I liked the color of the lipstick for sure.
