I've been desperately looking for a dark green lippie. This is not it. The color is so sheer, and more of a teal than a dark green. The smell hits you when you open it. You don't need to bring it to your lips. It smells rancid. Absolutely rank.

this smells weird. however, the color it very pretty but you sorta have to spread a couple layers on if you want it completely opaque otherwise iys a bit sheer w just 1 layer. it's easily spreadable but not super runny. the shimmer is nice

So Pretty!!!!

I was looking for a metallic matte lipstick shade to replace the one I've always used when it was discontinued. Never realized how hard it is to find a true Metallic MATTE lipstick. I normally wear a mauve-nude liquid lipstick and top it with a sheer metallic shade to set it off. I searched for months, trying every metallic I could find, wasting money and time on high end brands and lower end options only to be disappointed every single time. Then i found J.Cat Beauty Flash Metal WATERPROOF Metallic Lipstick in Magic Thunderbolt. This was it!!! An almost exact match to my former metallic lippie. I'm so happy with this purchase that I'm ordering more so I'll never have to replace it. Thank you JCat Beauty for a beautiful, high quality, low-budget product that is now a must have.

Highly Scented

the color is great, but this smells, it's very chemically and strong. It's possible it was the one tube I received, but I'm not sure.

the color qas really pretty, more of a pine-green, a little more sheer on application (I bought the red color as well and that was 100% opaque, this was more like 65%) but very light weight feeling. if not for the smell I would have been very happy with this.

Coverage from this product was streaky and hard to spread. Not sure if product was old but the metallic powder used in this formula felt as if it were scratching the skin on my lips and the alcohol which is used to dry down the product only burned in tandem with the metallic substance therein. tried to use it as a toper over mat lipstick as well and resulted in the same sensation. I do not recommend. This is why sensitivity swatches are important.

Don't buy.

But this is by far the worst I've tried. The color didn't look good after multiple applications and the scent gave me the worst headache. I just couldn't make this product work for me.

Nice pigment!

I do really like this lippie. The pigment is really pretty and goes on smoothly. I feel like it would be pretty drying though, but I haven't tested that out. It smells chemical-y when you first apply, but I didn't notice it after a few minutes.

Two words: Staying. Power!

This lipstick is beautifully pigmented. I set it with a little green eyeshadow and it lasted through a whole dinner and a total of 8+ hours. I have lipsticks that cost four times what I paid for this that don't hold up nearly as well. Buy all the colors! You won't be disappointed. One tiny critique, it smells not so awesome upon application, but the scent dissapates once it dries.

Bolts of Thunder and Aphrodites Scent are too sheer for standalone and weren't too impressive to me, but some of the other colors are pigmented and lovely. honestly, cant be too made for the price.

Bargain!

I purchased the winter cherry and burning gaze. The winter cherry is a metallic bright red and the burning gaze is a metallic bright pink. They both apply easily, do not bleed and are very opaque. This lipstick has serious staying power and is kiss proof if you wear alone without a gloss or balm. I will definitely be purchasing more colors.
