So basic, no color
I got this when Juvia's was running a promo and the associate said I'd get one free. I asked to see the display so I could pick a color. She told me "none of them really have color". She was right. It's like a child's Lip Smacker. It has shine but does not moisturize or soften my lips at all. There's also no color. I'm so glad it was free because it has no value other than smelling nice.
It's ok
If you like it I love it. Just your standard lip balm but it has a medicine-like scent underneath the grape scent. I could do without.
grape where?
this is a decent gloss. went on smooth, felt nice, but there was not even a tad of grape smell to it.
Never.
This company is too shady to include ingredients lists here or on their website. I would never buy from them. Especially not for a product intended for a mucous membrane that 60% of which ends up in your GI tract.
Nice/decent for hot weather
This is very light and barely has any balmy properties. If your lips are already in good shape this will be a good maintenance lip balm during the day when it's warm out. "Coconut" is truly clear, has no sparkle, and smells nice (sweet coconut, sometimes I catch whiffs of it when I first put it on but I don't even usually smell it at that time). It's not long-lasting at all, so it's not good for night use. It lasts 3-4 hours when you're not talking, eating, or whatever, and when you are it lasts 1 to 1-and-a-half. If your lips are chapped all the time like me (hello, anxiety!), this won't repair them. Get some Vaseline for that purpose. However, unlike Vaseline, this blurs chapped lips better while I find petrolatum to emphasize the cracks through its shine. This is too light for cold weather, IMO. Good for hot weather when your upper lip is dripping. Might repurchase for that circumstance if I ever stop biting my lips.
Just OKAY
I'm a sucker for a nice gloss, always have been, with that being said I will rate this gloss a solid 3 stars , it has a nice shine and it smells great (Coconut) , it's just to thin, like chapstick thin, I don't like that, I rather my Maybelline lifter gloss and others over this, this is a gloss however to wear while at work or church, not sure if I will ever buy this or any of the other scents in this gloss ither.
Shine is short-lived
this is a glossy balm, but I need more staying power. this wears off quickly and I don't find it hydrating enough. I bought the coconut and the guava. They smell good, but i will not repurchase
Great gloss balm
I received the "Guava", as a gift when I ordered several palettes. It's glossy and pretty. It's simple in color. There's no serious pigment or anything. It's a slight tint that translates to clear on your lips.
I love gloss balms in a squeeze tube, because I can lay down a thick layer in one swipe…without disturbing my lipstick or liner. This fits the bill perfectly.
Two things I like most…the art on the tube is really pretty! The second thing is the scent. I used to review perfumes. I can recognize a single smell from thousands…from 30 years ago. This gloss smells EXACTLY like the OG "Tropical Blend: Rio Blend" tanning oil. It smells like a tropical vacation in a tube! I am going to purchase the remainder of the gloss balm collection.
Pleasantly surprised
Honestly at first I wasnt going to buy this product, because normally lip balms dry out my lips more than they should. However this particular lip balm was a nice change because it did the opposite.
Oily
I generally prefer a thick gloss but this is more of s cross between a lip oil and gloss. Also l purchased the guava flavor and its kind of a generic fruit scent. Personally would not buy this scent again, sticking with laneige over here
