I bought this palette for a my bestie. She has beautiful chocolate skin and this palette just popped on her. I did her makeup for a special event using this palette and it did not disappoint. It was giving black Barbie and was just stunning! If you love a bold eye just do it! So gorgeous!
Pigments can't be used on eyes??!?
It's called an eyeshadow pallet but if you read the fine print on the back some of the colors (namely the pressed pigments) can't be used on eyes. I thought this was misleading and confusing. The colors are beautiful, though.
Finally pink eyeshadows for skin of color!!!
I'm usually disappointed when I get "pink" eyeshadows because they hardly show up on my skin. I'm neutral medium skin tone and in the summer I tan easily. I couldn't wait to get home and try this pallet and OMG it is my new favorite line for eyeshadows!! I can vividly see the pinks. This is soooo exciting!! If you are skin of color and looking for pink eye shadows, this is your brand.
But It!!!
I'm a sucker for pink eyeshadows so when I saw this I knew I had to have it. These eyeshadows are so pigmented and not chalky at all!! They're absolutely perfect and if you're worried about any fallout I barely had any even without a eyeshadow primer on.
Pretty & Pigmented
This is my first Juvia's Place palette but it won't be my last. The color story is excellent and the shades are very pigmented. I like to spray my brush with Smashbox Primer Water before applying the metallic shades. It gives them a more foiled finish and prevents fallout. The only thing that I don't like is that two of the shades (1 and 5) are not suitable for the immediate eye area. Those are the shades I use for my crease.
Stunning
I love a good berry pallet and this one has been a pleasure to use. Applies easily with good brushes. It doesn't flake all over my face. I wore it to picnic in Texas humidity for about 6 hours this past weekend and it made it through the day flawlessly... wish I could say the same for my mascara. I look forward to checking out other products from this company!
The perfect pink palette
I have been searching for hot pink mattes for literal years. I bought this palette on sale and I am SO glad I did. If you're on the fence, just buy it. All the shadows look so beautiful and blend so well
I LOVE THIS PALETTE!
Definitely worth the money! I use it pretty frequently and the colors are even more gorgeous on than they are in the pan. The foils are absolutely beautiful. Every time I wear these shadows people always ask me what palette I'm using and most of my friends have picked this up to add to their collection. Definitely worth it.
Soooooo pigmented
I bought this because I was seriously lacking in strong pinks. This totally delivered. I've seen some bad reviews, saying it wasn't blending. Not the issue I've been having. I apply a nice (not too thick) eye primer and then the shadows. And omg it delivers. Perfect colors for a beautiful look.
I really wanted to like this one but
Unfortunately the shadows did not blend well at all I had a hard time blending, I kept going back in the product with my brush but nothing was happening so I just had to put this pallet back in my drawer and use another one.. the colors are so beautiful though!
