Juvia's Place The Nubian II Eyeshadow Palette Reviews

OMG, I LOVE IT!!

I love eye shadow, but have found that many of the colors that I purchase from popular brands either don't show up well on my kids or just do not work well with my skin tone. Well, every color in this Juvia pallette works and pops on me!! I have already ordered another pallette, the lipstick, foundation... I am all in! I can't wait to try everything Juvia has to offer. This is hands down the best eyeshadow palette I own!

Zuri is the best highlighter on earth

The shadows in this pallet are fairly versatile but you guys. ZURI is the most phenomenal highlighter there is. I use it on my nose my cheeks my Cupid's bow my brow bone my inner corner I would bathe in it if I could. I buy this pallet just for zuri.

My friends introduced me to this palette and fell absolutely in love with it! I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I tried all colors and by far the best brand ever! It was easy to come off no difficulties. I guess it all depends on your skin type.

It was Meh

I got this product in a bundle and I was excited to try it because it looks beautiful in the pan, however the mattes eyeshadows are so hard to work with. They don't blend properly and lack pigment. The maroon shade did stain my eye so that was a bummer. The shimmers are beautiful though.

I would suggest this product to others!

The colors look great on my skin tone. I can wear the colors alone or mix 2 or 3 together. Great for making your eyes pop to distract from the mask which was what I was looking for when I walked into the store!

Love This!

I don't wear makeup often but my other palette did not have good pigment and had run out of the colors I use often. Instead of buying another big palette, I wanted something smaller with more neutral colors. This worked perfect and is good quality for the price.

PLS MAKE ZURI A SINGLE in love

I just want to start offf with I love this makeup company and impressed with there work. I had this pallet for almost 4 month ese and zuri is almost gone and I will buy another pallets for it. Pigment great. A little too much fallout but it still looks great

Great quality

These shadows are really amazing quality, I just wish they didn't stain and were easier to take off. The shimmery shades are absolutely gorgeous so I don't mind doing extra work to take it off my skin.

Fantastic product, one of the best eyeshadows ever!

First time using this product and I could not believe how well the colors blended together. They are highly pigmented but no shadow fallout when you use the darker shimmery shadows. They colors look lovely on my fair olive skin and on my friend's medium brown skin. I have oilier skin and even without a primer these shadows lasted all day! Amazing product and for a fantastic price.

Such beautiful, thick colors

This palette is absolutely beautiful, such vibrant and shimmery colors. The texture goes on well and you can blend almost all of them to make a beautiful combination. I would use my finger to apply the more dominant colors like the gold and the blue. About to buy one for myself! Was a present to my mom for her birthday.

Love this pallet!!

My best friend gave me this pallet for Christmas (she asked which one I wanted and I told her this one because I wanted to try it. And yes I opened it early lol). So far so good. I've used it a couple of times now. It is VERY pigmented. The color selection is good. My one and only complaint is I wish it had a lighter transition shade and a brow bone shade. I have to use other pallets for those two colors. But as for a crease shade, outer corner shade and lid shade this pallet is good.

Perfect!!

Love love love this palette. The colors are absolutely beautiful and stunning. The colors are also very pigmented and blends easily. This is my go to palette. I can create several looks whether it's fall vibes or date night looks. It never fails me. Would recommend, worth your bucks!

Wears off too quickly.

The colors are beautiful & the initial pigment is impressive, but the formula doesn't last on the eye.

I tried with & without primers.

Sure the price is good, but I want my makeup to stay on my face.

Very disappointed.

6 of the shades say do NOT use around immediate eye. It states this on the back of the package. I'm dissatisfied that 6 shades are not meant to be used around the eye! Isn't this an eyeshadow pallet?!??

I absolutely love this palette!!

I have layered this product but have not cut-creased with it yet. The colors are very pigmented. I love this palette because it has both mattes and sparkly colors in it. I will definitely try some of their other palettes. And the price is crazy. You get such a quality product for an economical price. Thanks:)

LOVE - but stains

I love this palette even more than I expected. It's colorful and yet still wearable on a somewhat daily basis. Juvia's palettes have inspired me to be more creative! I have a love/hate relationship with the shade Jezebel. It is gorgeous and unique and I love to use it. However, it definitely stains my eyelids and brushes a bright pink and I'm pretty sure it gives my eyes a slight itchy/stingy feeling. So far it hasn't been enough to stop me using it, just a fair warning!

Excellent Pigmentation!

I absolutely love how pigmented this whole palate is! The colors are vibrant in the pan and on the skin. It also blends well, and has a nice variety of color combinations/options. I like the formula for the most part, but it does have a faint chemical smell. It's not bad at all for the price though. One of my new favorites!

Incorrect ingredient list

Although I didn't try it I'm giving this 4 stars so I don't hurt the overall rating. I just wanted to say that I bought this thinking it didn't contain phenoxyethanol, a common allergen in cosmetics, because it is not listed here or on the juvia's place website or on pictures of the packaging. I guess they recently updated the formula to include this ingredient. I have 4 other palettes from this brand that don't include this ingredient but I've noticed it's listed in their new products and maybe they're remaking older palettes with it. It's a shame because I'm allergic. I wanted to enjoy this, and I know I would have.

is a beautiful formula, can be used for any look! pops of color to take your look to the next level but also neutrals for everyday. shimmer are absolutely gorgeous. and the matters are blendable and buildable

Very Nice

This palette is amazing. So pigmanted. So BIG. The pan sizes are nuts, especially for the price. I love the colors and think they would look especially good on darker skinned individuals, but I love it still! I will say I'd use other eyeshadow in combination with this palette because it does have a lot of bold colors.
