So I'm almost out of my first bottle and let me tell you. This serum is promising and lives up to its name, my skin has become one color if that makes sense. No more redness, pores are less visible, and the natural glow it gives. I've been getting skin compliments. I promise you that my butt got up and got me another bottle.
Serum is decent
I've only tried one other brand of serum and compared to that one, I would say I like soulcare serum slightly less. It's just not as smooth and it foams up on my face if I put even slightly too much. There is also no scent but would be nice if it had a slight scent. The bottle is pretty small for the amount of serum you get.

Here we go, Keys Soulcare. I mean, if you don't know who Alicia Keys is, you must live under a rock. She is a cultural icon, talented artist, and prolific wellness advocate. So in doing my due diligence, not trying to be swayed by celebrity status, I of course read the product label. The Promise Serum is holistically as clean, transparent and honest as Alicia is herself. It contains niacinamide, Zinc PCA, and Snow Mushroom. So what does that mean? It means this scent-free clean serum brightens the skin, controls oil production, balances moisture, and hydrates. Not only that it, it has a spiritual component that makes the product feel extra calming and nourishing. It even has an affirmation on the bottle! This product is approachable for all skin types, but especially those looking to diminish pores, hydrate and moisturize, and also for those seeking a product that stands firmly behind its messaging. I use it morning and night paired with the radiant eye cream to get the full Soulcare experience. I can't wait to try even more products in the line! I feel very confident in what to choose because they offer a 'Ritual Quiz' to point you in the direction of the right products for your skin needs. It's intelligent, honest, and effective skincare at its finest.

The KEYS SOULCARE Promise Serum was a Huge surprise for me! To hear that Alicia Keys came out with her own skincare line was exciting! like wait' theee Alicia keys?! Her voice is absolutely beautiful And guess what? So are her products! I've been in the beauty industry for 6 years now and I can say that I Approve of this product! The KEYS SOULCARE Promise Serum comes in A nice glass bottle and has a dropper. The thing I like most about the bottle is the dropper has a plastic insert that stops you from taking out too much product at once. Super convenient. The serum is very thick, but spreads on very well over the face and as soon as you have the product on you can instantly feel your face hydrated. It's not slimy, greasy or too heavy of a product for your face/ very deceiving! Your face will feel like it needed this serum. There's no scent to the product but it didn't bother me because of how good my face felt. My skin is a little on the dryer side but not many blemishes. I felt like this product instantly brightened my face up, and left it feeling so amazing! It also contains niacinamide which is amazing for anti-aging, it also has zinc PCA which is to help brighten up your skin. I love this product, and I recommend it to everyone.

This serum was great for my oily-congested skin for multiple reasons. It was hydrating, soothing, my skin was radiant during the day and did not break me out. The experience during the application was great, resulting in a healthy-looking complexion. Overall this is a ???? stars product. Pros - Packaging: the glass bottle makes this product feel so high end and also highly recyclable which is important. - Formula: is lightweight, fast absorbing, non tacky on the skin. You can trust this formula will not compete against any of your other skincare products in your skincare routine. - Ingredients: The second ingredient mentioned in the ingredient list after water is Niacinamide. This is impressive for two reasons. *Reason #1: Niacinamide is a multitasking ingredient that's famous for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, minimizing pores, regulating sebum production and more. *Reason #2: this ingredient is high in the ingredient list. It's the second ingredient right after 'Water(Agua)', which means that the concentration of Niacinamide in this formula is at a higher level, which will translate into positive results for your skin. -Scent: this formula is light scented, not overwhelming scent very pleasant when applying the product. -Application: the product was easy to apply on the skin as the serum-gel-like texture glides easily allowing for a fast application. Results: Skin feels hydrated and balanced throughout the day. Cons: The only con is that the product doesn't mention if it's fragrance free. I personally do not have any issues with fragrance but there are many consumers who look for fragrance-free or slightly fragrance products and displaying this information could be helpful for those consumers.

The Keys Soulcare Promise Serum is formulated with a board-certified dermatologist, and the brand comes from Alicia Keys, inspired by her love of holistic wellness and skincare. Suffering from skin issues for many years, she began Keys Soulcare to help deliver clean skincare to all skin types! Each product has an affirmation printed to enhance your self care ritual. The bottle is stunning, a rich purple (Alicia Keys' favorite color!). As someone who is particular about packaging, I inexplicably like the feel of the dropper. The serum is made with some lovely ingredients. It contains niacinamide, a B vitamin which helps reduce the appearance of pores, tighten and brighten, and improve skin tone. Hojicha, a type of green tea, is high in Vitamin C and fantastic for lightening dark spots and acne scars. Also included is one of my favorite skincare ingredients: tremella fuciformis, or snow mushroom. This fun guy (sorry, had to do it!) helps aid in collagen production and intense hydration! The serum does not have any fragrance, so don't be put off by the natural smell. It definitely delivers on plumping and brightening skin, and feels very cool and silky when applying. However, and this is just my preference, it feels very tacky on the skin, and that feeling lasts for quite some time. To use, massage in 3-4 drops after cleansing, morning and/or night. Follow with a moisturizer and DON'T FORGET SPF if applying in the morning.

After cleansing, press 2-3 drops of the Promise Serum onto your complexion and neck, in a sweeping, gentle, upward motion. I instantly loved this serum from the scent , the soothing feeling it provided my skin , instant hydration and the unique affirmation printed on the bottle. This brand was created behind inspiration of her own skincare journey and love for ancient beauty rituals. As a fan of Alicia keys, I watched her skin transformation throughout the years and how she grew to love her own skin. This makes this product so much more meaningful to her and to anyone who can relate. I would recommend this serum to anyone who is experiencing uneven skin tone and wants a lightweight but effective product to bring the skin to a healthier state.

As a Licensed Esthetician, I was so honored and pleased to be invited as one of the first few to experience some of her new skincare products. One of which is the Keys Soulcare Promise Serum. This royal purple bottle just takes my breath away. The color is inspired by the Amethyst gemstone, which is meant to ground you and center your soul in the midst of stress and chaos. It's a beautiful sturdy bottle all around and I personally am a huge fan of purple. The product itself is a light, unscented, clear liquid serum that absorbs effortlessly into the skin. My dry skin loves the blanket of hydration it delivers. Once absorbed, my skin appears plump, supple, and radiant. It's formulated with 3 key ingredients: Niacinamide to improve skin texture and promote brightness, Zinc PCA a moisturizing element that also helps reduce redness and irritation, and Snow Mushroom aids in the natural production of collagen. I am really impressed with the choice of ingredients. It's hydrating, skin tone evening, and anti-aging. One thing that some may find uncomfortable is that it leaves a sticky finish. But it's sticky in a sense that it doesn't make my skin feel tight, instead the stickiness actually helps my skin maintain a bouncy feel and an elastic hold. The stickiness will slowly diminish throughout the day. After a few uses, I don't even notice the stickiness. My pro-tip to achieve the perfect balance: Dispense 2-3 drops in the palm of hand. Gently warm it up with both hands. Then apply it on to skin with firm pressing motions. Doing this will somewhat lessen the sticky feeling. I would recommend this for Normal to Dry skin types from my Esthetician point of view. Finally, Alicia Keys' Soulcare wants you to remember the next time you do your skin care, take a moment and embrace the time, even if it is just a few minutes of washing your face. Do it with a loving mindset that this is a ritual moment of self care. A simple moment of attention and focus on oneself can truly make your mood and set the tone for the rest of the day or night.
First off, I really love
First off, I really love the deep purple clear bottle that the serum came in.The serum is crystal clear and fragrance free, safe for people who suffer from allergies. Its good for all skin types but if I was to give my professional opinion, I believe dry skin types will benefit the most from using this serum, my reasoning is because the serum felt a little heavy on my oily skin. But it wasn't too heavy to where It was uncomfortable and wanted to wipe it off. It's just my skin felt extremely moist, which is not a bad thing. I recommend this serum for those who have large pores, the Niacinamide that's present in the serum helps diminish them. I also used the serum with my guasha tool and it worked so well with it. So I definitely recommend trying the serum out with the quasha tool or Jade roller. My results were pretty amazing, my skin felt tightened, plumped and it was glowing to the max.

Keys Soulcare Promise Serum is a product that I have really enjoyed using. It has a nice slip, texture and absorbs quickly. It does leave a bit of tackiness to the skin which I didn't mind and it did not affect my makeup application but it was just something I noticed. It has no noticeable scent. I double layered this once it absorbed into the skin just to see if I liked the effects even more. At this time, the jury is out. Overall I noticed pluming, softening of fine lines around my mouth and a bit of a glow. I am heading toward menopause and was hoping this serum would be the holy grail that showed real plumping results even when my hormones tank for a week, but it isn't that but it is a solid product that works. I also appreciation the heavy glass bottles which also means better for the environment and our poor earth. Thank you for being conscious to this and not just writing uplifting quotes on your packaging. I love those too but brands need to do better for our earth and Keys kept the plastic away. I am unsure of the overall footprint being left but hopefully that was thought about too.

As a Freelancer with Skincare and Fragrance for the past 12 years, I absolutely love the brand culture of this product. It takes skincare and self care to a whole new level. I believe more people are turning to ritualistic skin care, self care, whole care and soul care for so many reasons in this modern world. When this serum arrived I was pretty excited to try it out. The packaging is elegant and regal with minimal waste. This product in particular as in all of the Soulcare products has affirmations on the glass bottle and it's packaging . The affirmation on the Promise Serum states, 'You Embrace All Possibilities ' The Promise Serum is lovingly packaged in a dark violet dropper. The consistency is light and absorbs quickly . I usually apply it in the morning after cleansing 3 to 4 drops under my day moisturizer or I mix it with my foundation for a smooth glow. This product is actually a lightweight toning serum infused with niacinamide, zinc PCA, and antioxidant-rich Hojicha powder helps to control oil levels and reduce the appearance of pores for a healthy looking appearance . As an esthetician for over 18 years, I always recommend using a serum for specific skincare concerns or targeting treatment areas. Serums are more potent and concentrated than other forms of skincare, such as toners and moisturizers. Serums allow more and often a more potent dose of the vital ingredient to be delivered to the skin for treatment or repair. The KEYS Soulcare Promise Serum has niacinamide that brightens and evening out your skin tones and complexion. I have some moderate pale pink hyperpigmentation from previous acne scars. While my skin is relatively healthy, I am conscientious of looking without makeup and in natural light. I perform regular microdermabrasion treatments and, in the past, have tried a multitude of different serums. PRO TIP??: Make sure you have a basic, solid skincare routine established to maximize the Promise Serum benefits. Initially, I was not a very big fan of this product and even contemplated stopping my use of it entirely. My first reaction was that it was sticky and left my skin feeling tacky. However, I believe that my application process needed to be a bit refined. I have found the best application for the Promise Serum, and now I love using it every day! I apply the Promise Serum right before my moisturizer. I dab one drop on each cheek, my chin, and forehead. I then gently rub it in circular motions using the pads of my middle and ring fingers. I finish by pressing what I can feel remaining gently into my skin. I have found that this allows the product to be absorbed entirely. There is no stickiness left behind. I then apply my moisturizer. PRO TIP??: Be patient. It took me about two weeks of consistent, twice-daily use before I could see results, but I saw them! I recently looked at my skin and was shocked to see how flawless my skin looked after going through my routine and the products I'm using; I realized that Soulcare Promise Serum had everything to do with that. I'd love to touch upon how Alicia Keys incorporates an actual mind-body-soul element into her skincare line, and she even has affirmations scribed on her bottles. I've caught myself using Promise Serum and reciting the affirmation to feel more present and mindful in my moment. Soulcare Promise Serum delivers results, and I can genuinely say that if you need to brighten your skin, even out your skin tone, or have light to moderate hyperpigmentation, this product will be great for you.

So we have another celebrity skincare beauty launch. This one is by musician Alicia Keys hence the line is named Keys Soulcare. I was a bit skeptical as the beauty industry is currently so oversaturated. But, I have to say I enjoy the Keys Soulcare Promise Serum. It's a lightweight toning serum that's not runny, fragrance free and feels nice on the skin. I dispense 4 drops at night and massage until absorbed into my skin. I love the positive affirmation that's written on the back of the bottle that says ' I embrace all possibilities' The bottle is a gorgeous Amethyst color which is Alicia's favorite stone. The price point makes this serum a good purchase of only $25. This serum will help with redness, pore size, brightness, calming & balancing your skin. It contains Snow Mushroom to help boost collagen & Niacinamide + Zinc PCA. I have not seen any benefits to my skin as of yet. My skin concerns are more of a mature woman with loss of elasticity, and that goes beyond a serum. As a MUA, I recommend as an excellent prep prior to make up application due to its hydration.

As a beauty expert of several years, I was excited to try Keys Soulcare products. I was honored that BeautyTap included me in this round of reviews. With that said, I started using them as soon as I received them out of pure excitement. The serum has all of the ingredients we ask for and demand of our skincare products. Niacinamide and ceramides to name a few! Let's start with the beautiful packaging. I left this out on my counter to display. The deep purple packaging is welcoming and I love the durability of the glass. (Yes, I did drop mine and it survived intact!) Then, let's discuss scent. I have super sensitive skin so scents often effect me negatively. I was pleasantly surprised to find so scent! Texture of serum: wow.....not sticky or tacky. My skin soaked it right up! I loved that my skin felt moisturized and plump after using it! Does it work? Well, here is where my story goes a bit awry. It didn't work for me. I am perplexed as to which ingredient irritated my skin but I did get the largest cystic acne after using it - for the entire time I used it. I was so disappointed. The product is definitely great quality and I can't rave about it enough, but it just didn't work for my skin. I am sure that many women & men will enjoy the entire experience of this serum, I just had to stop using it. I did use it consistently for over a week to make sure that was what was causing the breakout. As soon as I stopped, my skin started to clear. Overall, would I recommend it? Absolutely. It's amazing. I would just suggest that if you have super sensitive skin like me, to maybe try it every couple of days instead of consistently. Enjoy. Alicia definitely knows her skincare!

The Promise Serum is a delightful, brightening blend of Snow Mushroom, Niacinamide and Zinc. Niacinamide and Zinc help clarify my skins texture while snow mushroom helps my skin look healthy, less dull and supple. I can feel good about using this serum on my combo-acne prone skin without worrying about breaking out. The texture of the Promise Serum is clear, thin and fluid. I was so excited to try KEYS Soulcare Promise Serum because it was created by Music Artist Alicia Keys and Dermatologist Dr. Renee Snyder so I was confident that this product would give honest results. I would say that my skin is normal to dry and sometimes prone to sensitivity. I live in a hot and humid climate so I am always looking for skincare that can hydrate without feeling " heavy". KEYS Soulcare Promise Serum is a lightweight gel consistency that creates a lovely experience especially when applying it with a face roller. It's quick absorbing formula leaves your skin feeling refreshed smooth and hydrated. Skincare is truly a customized type of thing some days we need a little more some days less. I like the droplet applicator because it allows you to control the amount of serum that you are using. My other skincare concern is uneven skin tone or hyperpigmentation. I feel like KEYS Soulcare Promise Serum lacked in giving me the results I want to achieve regarding this concern. This serum is perfect for someone who is new to using serums and want to add it to their skincare ritual or if you like your current skincare ritual but you're looking to elevate your hydration. As a cosmetologist I am very picky on the products I use on my skin. When it comes to serums I'm even more picky. Immediately, when I saw this product was Alicia's skincare I felt really good about it and relieved. I trust just about any skincare product that Alicia comes out with because I know it's good for me. The packaging instantly won me over because my favorite color is purple. The design is really sleek and professional. Pretty packaging automatically gets me hyped to use it. One thing I appreciate is that it doesn't have any artificial fragrance in it. In fact, it doesn't have any smell at all. When I first started using the serum I wasn't blown away by it. However, with more time I began to become a fan of it. The serum is very refreshing on the skin; it's not tacky or sticky which I like. My skin absorbs it nicely and it keeps my skin looking healthy. It improved the texture on my skin tremendously! One thing I noticed is that it is good for continuous use, that way you'll get better results our of it. I love that it contains Niacinamide which is an ingredient my skin loves. I have oily skin so all of my skin care products are centered around evening texture and controlling oils. My skin is less oily now since I've been using the Promise serum. Can you imagine how excited I was when I noticed that. So happy! As promised, the Promise serum balances my sebum and reduced my pore size. The smaller my pores, the less oily I get. This definitely is a staple in my routine. Yes, I would totally recommend this to anyone with oily skin. I do believe that because this serum is so hydrating anyone skin type can benefit from it, but for my oil skin clan this product hits the jackpot.

As a makeup artist and cosmetologist, I am always looking to both, how ingredients and how skincare works for the skin to help prepare it for makeup application. I truly believe that skincare is the foundation to any great makeup look. So when I was learning about KEYS SOULCARE Promise Serum and about the thoughtful ingredients in it, I was surprised. I believe many professionals look at a celebrity beauty or skincare line and don't expect much from it in terms of performance. As professionals, we need high quality products that will do what they say they will do and stand the test of meeting our clients needs, however diverse they are. I have to say that personally this serum was a little on the tacky side for my taste and while it didn't meet my specific skincare needs, I can see how this might be a great product for oily and breakout/inflamed skin. The long term brightening and anti-inflammatory ingredients, like niacinamide help to make this a great product for my clients who struggle with regulating their skin barriers moisture level while treating and healing pigmentation and inflammation. The hydrating and anti-aging ingredients like snow mushroom and the addition of zinc PCA make this an especially great formulation for those struggling with their skin. While the benefits were not right for me, I can see the benefits of having this in my kit and providing it as a recommendation to my clients who struggle with their skin.

I was truly excited to try this serum! The Beautiful bottle and message completely draws you in. The color is truly majestic! Being in the beauty industry for over thirty years I have learned to recognize beauty and quality. This is a very thoughtful product created with care. The Promise Serum is a clear brightening serum which helps the skin stay hydrated and supple. We all want our skin to stay hydrated and look healthy and the Caprylyl Glycol aids in helping to retain moisture. Also, the snow mushrooms in this serum helps to not only hydrate but plump the skin creating a full look to the skin. My skin quickly absorbed the serum and I did feel it working right away. Keys Soulcare is a brand that was created by recording artist, Alicia Keys. Generally, as an esthetician, I tend to stay away from brands that are not created or backed by cosmeceutical companies. The primary reason for this is that the products tend to only deal with issues on the topical level. I prefer products that delve deep into the skin and really target skin concerns. The Keys Soulcare line not only works for the skin but it has ritual messages along with it. Skincare is a time to reflect, it's a time for self-care, and this brand has taken this to the next level. Each product includes an affirmation on the bottle and on the Promise Serum bottle it says "I embrace all possibilities". The Promise Serum definitely provides all the possibilities. It is medium in viscosity, not too runny, and not too thick. It is very hydrating and has enough slip if you want to use a tool to massage the skin. I use this product in the mornings and since I keep my home relatively cool the product is cool when applied and it helps to depuff my skin and really breathe life back into the skin.
