Lime Crime Sunkissed Glimmering Skin Stick

Not sure how to best use?

I bought the shade Cove on clearance sale. I thought this would be a shimmery bronzer type of product, but this looks odd on my face. Too shimmery in an unflattering way. So I'm going to try to use it on my body this summer. I tested it out by rubbing it onto my palms to warm it up, then applying with my hands to my shoulders, arms, etc. This worked way better than trying to apply this particular shade directly to my skin. This shade is very warm bronze, leaning coppery, which applied in a heavier method looks orangey. But a lighter application with your hands gives a nice warm shimmery finish that looks nice on the body. I might try this as a blush topper but I think this may be too shimmery for that use, but I'll try it. All in all, I'm happy I tried it, but glad it was on sale and not at full price.

Lovely Buildable Glow

I own Maui (rose gold), Tidal (perfect champagne), and Wavy (lavender pink). Wavy is great for an iridescent pinky-violet sheen. Tidal is my perfect champagne beige for a natural glow. I love Maui as a subtle blush on my fair skin. There is subtle shimmer in both Wavy and Maui. If you want a glow that doesn't feel cakey or greasy, this is a great option.

Good body highlight

I bought this in the shade Wavy when I saw it was on sale. Not the shade I've been eyeing, but Clarence is clearance. The amount I thought I would get is less in person, but I doubt I'll end up using all of it anyway. I really do like the packaging for a body highlight specifically. It makes the application very convenient, no mess or anything like that. The product itself has a very lovely sheen and reflect. At the 50% off price, it's worth it, but not full price considering what I can do with powder highlight. Either way, this is a very innovative item, and I recommend it.

Weird

This is such a weirdly shaped highlighter. It was so hard to use because I had to angle it this awkward way on my cheekbones. It also barely showed up. The deodorant-like design is just difficult and strange and seems to exist for no apparent reason. Just make this a normal stick. Even if it was a normal highlighter shape though, the quality leaves something to be desired. Certainly not the worst I've ever used but also far from the best…

Go darker!

I got Maui but it was lighter than expected. So go darker or look for other swatches or try in-store. Also very expensive!! Still a fun little product. It went on smooth. Too bad the color was too ashy on me. I had to return because it was too light for me. It was more like Oasis on me. It wouldn't even work as a highlight because it was too pale. I'd try again but in-store. I'd swatch the two darkest shades. I gave 4 stars because it's still a nice quality product.

Wanted more color

I got the shade Wavy.

I would like it more if it had more color and shimmer to it. Instead, it just looks like some specs of pink glitter once blended into the skin. If you roll on some and don't blend it, then there is a hint of color and gleam, but it's mostly just some scattered glitter. It also doesn't stick to the skin, so it's gone pretty quickly.

Very Smooth, not too heavy, Beautiful Coverage

Purchased this in the lavender shade, it's not as dark as the swatches but it's still very visible. Just the right amount of color really, glides on very smooth. I used this on cheeks, face and arms. When building up the color, you may have small build ups. This is very creamy so you can simply smooth out like lotion. Very sheer feel, I can't tell I am wearing it which is fabulous! Definitely buying more colors. Appears to have a slight color shift which is lovely. Very nice product by Lime Crime. Highly recommend this all over body glimmer stick. I almost feel like a unicorn.
