Effective and Useful Lighting Kit
This lighting bleach kit is very effective. It bleached my hair very smoothly. I did not have any complications and was able to dye my hair the color I wanted.
Works well but burned my scalp
It did a great job but it caused a very bad reaction on my scalp and burned extremely bad I had it on for not even 10 minutes. I have been doing my own hair for 7 years and have used many different bleaches and never had an issue but for some reason this one just agree I guess. Today I have some little bumps from it. But aside from it all. It doesn't feel damaged or anything after the bleach.
great bleaching kit
i was trying the hair color for the first time, so i thought i might as well try the bleach too! it was great! it pulled my hair amazing. the only thing is you're going to need to buy extra developer & pick up a deep conditioner as well. other than that, this is my go to bleach. i've used it 3 times now & i haven't had any problems.
Bleached Virgin Hair
So I already have dirty blonde hair but this lightened my hair FAST! It said leave it in for 35-45 minutes but I actually just needed 15! It does leave your hair pretty dry which I don't like but it's bleach! I would give it 5 stars but I just wish there was enough developer rather than bleach in the kit other than that it's great!
This product is amazing!
I used this to lighten (bleach) my hair and it went better than expected. I was of course nervous about damages being too great afterwards but I kept checking as often as needed and this product did its job and my hair is still extremely healthy! I will be sticking with this product in the future. ^_^
Great Bleach
I wanted to lighten my hair a couple shades of brown. I haven't used bleach in a very long time . i was very hesitant and nervous to do this again on my own.I researched a few products and found this one. I'm very happy I chose this product. I didn't leave on for the full recommend time because I was nervous and just needed my hair lighter to recolor. It was easy to apply, the smell wasn't too bad and it lifted a lot of box dye both browns and reds enough for me to have a lighter brown and even color. My hair is soft and not damaged. My ends were dry before bleaching and the bleach did make them even dryer but that is to be expected. I just trimmed my hair a little and it feels great. I would definitely recommend this bleach and would use again.
definitely buying again
took my daughters dark blonde/light brown hair to completely white in 2 twenty minute sessions. I did each session a week apart. she has zero damage. the smell wasn't terrible.
Great Product
This product definitely turned my dark root yellow and I was able to put red right over. Didn't burn my scalp and the process was effective. Would definitely buy again.
Amazing
Literally the best bleach I've used. My hair is pitch black and it lifted it to a light red brown my hair also has never felt so soft??
Best bleach
This is my favorite bleach. It lifts so nicely, if your hair is like a medium brown or lighter, use this one instead of the 40. You also get soooooo much I have shoulder length hair but a lot of it and I waste so much after bleaching my whole head so you can use generously.

How To Use
Prep:
- Lime Crime suggests doing a strand test prior to full head application of the hair lightening kit.
- Put on a pair of old clothes or protective apron and wear gloves included in kit (Note: Bleach will stain clothing).
- Making sure your hair is unwashed, dry, and combed through.
- Part hair down the center into two sections and then divide hair into four sections: two sections on top of and two on bottom.
Mixing:
- Mix one-part bleach to two parts developer in a plastic, ceramic, or glass bowl. Do not use a metal bowl or utensils.
- Stir until there are no clumps, and the mixture is consistent.
Application:
- Using a tinting brush, start at the back where hair is thickest work into small sections from the crown of your head down. Make sure each section is fully saturated.
- Wait 5-10 minutes and finish off your roots last, staying 1 inch away from the scalp. The bleach will expand and lighten the rest.
- Pin up your hair and wait 30-45 min if you are using the 20 vol developer or 15-20 min if you are using the 40 vol developer. Paying close attention to the condition of your hair while it is processing. The bleach will warm and may tingle the scalp. This is normal.
- Rinse hair thoroughly with cool water and ensure that all product has been washed out. Follow with Lime Crime's Unicorn Hair Universal Shampoo and Conditioner.
- Don't use conditioner if you plan on coloring your hair using semi-permanent Unicorn Hair Full Coverage or Tints after bleaching.
Note: If you have virgin (non-colored) hair, leave your roots till the end. Start the application process at mid-length and ends first then wait 5-10 minute before going back to do your roots.
